Thank you for focusing on Michigan. I had no idea workers weren t allowed to work in shifts here in my state. I also didn t know about a lot of other problems with postmarks etc. I m still voting absentee as I m disabled, but one of my adult kids decided to go to the polls this year and the other voted absentee (both in college one out of the area. I appreciate informational topics like this which point out the flaws going on in particular states like my own.

Sorry but in Switzerland it's completely normal to vote by mail. We vote nearly every second month. First we get the voting letter a few weeks before the voting day. Then we send it back and then they count the votes on the election day. So where is the problem?

Here in the UK we have have had postal voting for years and everyone knows its fraudulent. At least here postal votes have to be counted before the election. Maybe Zimbabwe counts them after or maybe Russia. Your system is a laughable.

The funny thing is Florida has blamed the things that they can overheat but I don t think a piece of paper can even overheat and they should just make a website for it or are the Republicans to boomers to do that

Mail in voting is great - been doing it safely for yrs in Oregon and several states and not all are blue states. If mail in voting is good enough for the military, it should be good enough for the whole nation.

Elections results are on December 14th.
How come states can run polling LOCATIONS on their own, but need the USPS now? Can't they just have polling drop boxes and thus control the collection of ballots?

For centuries billions of Christmas cards went out. But this year Donald Trump out of fear of losing the election threw a wrench into the USPS, for example removing hundreds of sorting machines.

Shouldnt the state pay the rest of fees, since they pass the lawss reuqiring more funding needed. 11 milliom from the fed and 22 million from the state? Would that get results by 11pm?

The problem is that US is a banana democracy compared to most european states, it's awful what i've learned about all that voting obstruction, it feels like Russia or Hungary.
