man I really wish there was a second version of the film on bluray with Nolans commentary on every scene. I could listen to him for hours.
Also Gibson is my favourite. he kept going out of his way to help them; --; I wonder if his character was intended to be a larger metaphor for the sacrifices of the forgotten French?

I got shortness of breathe watching this scene in theaters. I seriously had to catch my breathe when this whole scene was over. He achieved what he wanted to achieve. Great job Mr. Nolan.

I really wish he didn't hate doing commentaries, the ones he did for his first three movies are great. Still, it's nice to get it for one scene of Dunkirk at least

This was the first film out of all of Nolan's masterpieces that garnered him a Best Director nomination, and he didn't even win. The Academy is utterly pathetic.

The whole movie made me very anxious when I watched it. This scene took me back. I love the movie. It is magnificent, but it is also terrifying to me.
