my grandma has dementia. my dad and i take care of her. its his mother. shes 95 gonna be 96yrs old soon. she still walks with just a cane. and is strong enough to sit up and sit down on her own. she cant really see because of macular degeneration in her eyes. she cant really hear unless you speak loundly and clearly. her mind is gone a lot of times. it gets hard taking care of her sometimes. my mother used to help us. but a yr ago. my mom suddenly passed away. we miss my mother very much. things get hard at times. but thats what we all do. we all care. and care for eachother. like the video says. stages of life. god bless all those who take care of their parents.

I really love this video. Very heartwarming. I think more should be done to reward people who make such huge contributions to society. In reality the plan was for people like his mother to pay into a system that would eventually care for them and it hasn't worked out that way. But instead of rewarding people like this man for filling in the gap, society is punishing them. Like in the video they are often asked to leave their job, hurt in their careers, or suffer considerable financial set backs. Society should do more to work with people empathetically gifted rather than work against them.

Humans are fascinating creatures. I've spent more than 29 years studying Humans. Just when I think the Humans can't surprise me, they usually do. Youtube is a place where I can consume many videos created by the Humans. At times it's fun, other times, it can be a learning experience. There are so many Humans on this planet, it's ridiculous. Either way, I exist among you. I'll continue to take notes and study the Human species.

At least she had one kid. This kind of problem is what happens when birth rates plummet. Sure, it's great to not have to spend money or time on screaming children, but who's gonna take care of you when you're old. Sure, you can a hire some Philipino maid, but that fountain is also gonna dry eventually.

What a loving and caring husband, father and son he is. The generations coming are nothing like this, they are selfish and very childish. It's all about fulfilling what they want in life and not about their family. Just remember younger generation you will be old one day as well.

and then there are those sons and daughters who, when their parents reach an old age, put them into old houses and hence their poor parents are deserted. how can they even think of doing such a thing? we should learn from people like this man. he is doing such a great thing

Does somebody stay with her at home or is she alone? That would be awful because she wouldn't be able to move to eat drink go toilet. She would sit in her mess. What if she was sore and unable to move.

Deeply moving beyond words. That's true love: juggling all three major aspects of his life; while instilling those same values to his son. Beautifully done with great dignity.
