Obese to beast in under a year - brand new me

A 20-year-old-man lost 104lbs in 10 months, going from obese to beast. -Lose weight- and -go to the gym more- - on 1 January 2018 Quantel Thomas made the same resolutions that so many vow to do at the start of a new year. But for Quantel, these weren-t just feelgood attempts he could give up by February. After being told by doctors he was at risk of diabetes, Quantel knew he had to make a change to his diet. He did far more than that: in under a year Quantel lost over 100lbs, going from 284lbs to 180lbs and transforming his body - including new six-pack and all - in the process. Perhaps even more astonishing is that Quantel did all of this without any formal fitness programme or a personal trainer. Going to the gym at least six days a week, Quantel can bench press 285lbs and deadlift up to 475lbs. Eventually he hopes to get into body building - he currently weighs 204lbs as he attempts to bulk up - and is currently studying Exercise Science at college with plans to become a personal trainer afterwards

It's February 2021. I see this videos and it reminds me of how I changed my body and my entire personality. Then 2020 came, gyms were closed and it all went downhill, because the gym is the only place I can effectively work out, without being distracted (ADHD kid here. Then they opened up again in summer of 2020, only to close again in November, not really knowing for how long this time around (I live in Greece and we're currently in the third month of a second lockdown, with no signs of the Corona situation easing anytime soon. I see people in these videos lifting weights and I just realise how much I miss this.

Clearly you are an inspiration to myself and to everyone in the comments, and I truly thank you for that. At my smallest as an adult, I was 150, and I am now, almost 300 pounds because of stress and past endeavors I've been through. But like you said, it's all mental. I truly appreciate you King. Thank you for this video bro. Your words of encouragement and your journey alone helped me. Watching your transformation helped even more. I can do it. I can. You did. And you're right, so can I. ---

That feeling of getting that pump. I know exactly what hes talking about and iv lost it completely. How you get that back? Just that aggressive effort almost like you angry but your loving it. for me its gone and only 29 and feel younger, I have the energy but lost the aggressiveness. I wanna get a lil spastic when i lift like i did in high school lol. Any healthy advice or ideas?

guys its definitely steroids, im 100% sure. he didn't work out at 303 lbs so he wouldn't have much muscle underneath. and to lose weight and gain that much muscle in only a year is raising a lot of red flags. his physique would be what a natural would achieve with 3-4 years of hard work and diet. not salty, just educating

This is me too. Went from 124kg at 17 years old to 73kg at 18 years old and found interest in bodybuilding after lifting weights for 5 months. I look like a completely different person to a point where some people i know don't really recognise me

This guy is a big inspiration to me. I weigh around the same as him so seeing him lose 100lbs in less than a year is amazing to me and it gives me so much hope. I'm starting my journey this week once I get paid and I get my a gym membership.

Why these men be calling women females? Female what? Dog, duck, gorilla, elephant? A woman is a female human. Hen is a female chicken. Call us women, not female! Smh

How come others have lose skin and others don-t 10 months is quick to lose 100 pounds so how come he doesn-t have any lose skin
reply

He didn-t get lose skin because of the age right I think he said he was 19? Or was he just losing it at a steady rate?
reply

Great job man. You worked hard and achieved what you wanted in less than a year. Not many of us can achieve that
reply

Damn those genes! not a single stretch mark on his pics at 300+ lbs and no obvious lose skin at the latest.
