AT 425Ibs, Robert Saldivar from Waterford, California, struggled with everyday life and would have trouble breathing walking from his car to his front door. By the time Robert would get back into the house he would be pouring in sweat and out of breath. His weight got out of control in 2005 as he would sit down at a desk for hours working in a call center. Robert told Truly: -I was hiding from society, I would just come home from work and stay home. I wouldn-t go to the stores, I didn-t want to be seen in public. - Robert's motivation to lose the weight came after a tragic incident. -What motivated me to lose 236lbs was after my wife passed away. It was after the funeral. I was in a depressed state before and after realising what had happened, it felt like a fog lifted above me and I was able to see myself for the very first time. Robert didn-t realise just how big he was until that night and knew he had to turn things around so he could be there for his kids and prevent them from having such a burden on their lives

I used to be really fat. And I was on the verge of developing serious health conditions. I remember not being able to tie my shoelaces and my sleep suffered as well. My life changed when I finally set my mind to the thinking that anything is possible if you decide so. I took a meal plan to start with. I created it online, on Dietarize, which was super helpful to me. I didn't have to worry about calories, macros, nutrients and all that stuff, I just focused on walking long distances and exercising after I got on a level where I could do some simple workouts. I hope my story will inspire you to do the same. To change your body you must first change your mind!

Praying for my husband to have an epiphany about his health. I love him just the way he is but hes not healthy. He's really trying but loses his motivation many times( Haven't we all) but i told him my journey is my journey and his journey is for him. All i can do is tell not to be selfish and leave me here in this earth alone. Which i know is wrong but I want whats best for him. My personal health has isnt own struggles because i try to put everyone first but this year im making it about me.

I watched the whole video, and as you were walking into the health and fitness place, I noticed the restaurant in the background, and said, -wow. that looks like the place my Hubby and I eat at sometimes-, and realized it was! Ha. we live about 40 min from you! So VERY sorry for your loss! Its really wonderful that you did not give up, but turned your life around, in her memory, and for your boys! She would have been SO proud! Best of luck to you and yours!

I am happy he found the strength to turn to running and lifting to help deal with his pain and loss. Keep at it dude! My kiddos lost their father 5 years ago, and right after it was incredibly hard to deal with everything. It took a while to realize it was only me who would be here for my sons and I didn't take care of myself well because of depression. Now, I on my own fitness journey. I truly believe it helps fight our demons.

My father has always been a role model to me and my brother. The day we lost my mom was the day that he changed. And to be honest it-s been so long since he has been heavy that it-s hard to remember him like that. I look back at my childhood memories but my mind always fills in my dad as he is now. Not how he was then. It just goes to show that he really made a huge change in his life for the better. Thank you everyone.

Aww, I was hoping this would be about a cheating wife that left him and now he lost loads of weight he could now throw it all back in her face, like -pow! Look at me now honey! -
But the reality was so much sadder. But props for losing all that weight!

Of course your wife would be proud of you, you should be too -. It's people that have less weight to lose and they still haven't made it happen.
