This is basically mental fragility. So many are affected by it. If you have awareness at all time, things like this can't happen. My wife and son are like that, generally not aware of the surrounding, the potential danger. She was 6 month pregnant and took off in the morning on a kayak to the ocean. I thought she would just paddle a bit close to shore. But she took off to the point where I could only see a dot. And she could no longer hear my calling. After that, she wanted to go Parasailing. I had to put a stop to that request.

A really horrific accident. She-s right that you only get one shot at life so no matter what we need to get all we can out of it.
I have to imagine she was very intoxicated at the time, when her friends turned up and she blacked out, if they had arrived about a minute later she wouldn-t have survived, but if they had arrived about a minute earlier they would have pulled her back immediately.
This is an awful tragedy, I-m pleased she shared the story.

Isn't it more likely she fell and hit her head? She saw the lights, stood up to greet her friend, tripped and hit her head on a log or whatever. You often can't remember the event when you hit your head. If she was asleep, the fire would have woke her for goodness sake, right? If she was simply sleeping.
And now the Matrix: if she didn't call her friend to come, she wouldn't have stood up, and it may have never happened.

Miss, I know maybe that my words might have no meaning, but, what I see when I look at you're face is that you look exactly like how yo were during you're wedding as if the accident never happened. My daughter says real beauty comes from within, I was glad to hear that, she told my husband that's the kind of beauty mom has, I'm kinda chunky, lol. Wasn't expecting to hear that, but she's honest, if only half the women in the world knew really how beautiful they are. Thank you.
