Eff em if they can-t take a joke. My BFF had neurosurgery and wouldn-t leave the house because her head was shaved and she wouldn-t leave the house. I went and took her out for Chinese. She said she looked Lind the frsnkenstein monster. So what. As I was munching egg rolls she said she didn-t see how I could be in public with her let alone eat without vomiting. Didn-t bother me that people stared and whispered. So what if shred had metal staples on her head! Small things amuse small minds. Learn not to care about what others do or think. If they can-tdeal with how you look you don-t want them as friends anyway it is what we are inside that matters and you seeM super nice and I would have no problem being in public with you-

WHY his girlfriend doesn-t cut his fingernails and toenails? She can do it! I-m pretty sure the guy went many time to a specialized clinic to get his hands and feets trimmed, so he has a very good idea how to do it himself, and if his girlfriend was with him couple time, she know how to do it too, it-s not science rocket, i-m not a doctor but I have read lot of books about medecine and watched lots of video about everything, I have traveled 5 time around the world with my sailboat and I came across several situations I saved the life of many persons, and given good treatment to persons in needs, you have no idea how many persons are dumb at a point they don-t know how to clean a wound-. Or even pop a pimple-.

Feeling like you don't belong or just blend in is a terrible terrible feeling and way to go about life. It's hard to find peace when a person feels constantly separate. The hope is though, that no matter what, that is an absolute lie. We are all connected to matter how different we may look and we all need each other. So I try to always Remember this and make anyone in my presence feel welcome and wanted, especially those that give off the energy that they feel different than everything else

My friend (female) has a very bad acne and when she meets new people she always mentions that this is not infectious to others. I was stunned when she said that the first time. Why is it necessary to tell people this when you have a (bad) acne? Does anybody think acne is infectious to them while normal speaking to each other? She said yes, this is what people are afraid of. Would you too?
PS: i think it is a blessing to some people to have a mask on nowadays.

I work at convenience store and there's this gentleman that comes in and he has some sort of form of this on his entire body and his skin looks really red and raw and bumped up like a dog when they have mange it looks similar to that. Sweetest man ever. The post above or below whichever is so correct people cannot help their genetic conditions but we can help how we react to them. The body is literally just a temple for the soul. Love this guy

I know it's humiliating and embarassing but don't let others views of you affect the way you live your life. Go out and enjoy life. People need to grow up and be understanding that no one controls what your body does and it doesn't reflect who you are as a person. I would just hate for you to stay indoors and miss out because of ignorant people.

He-s a good looking fella! He has nice hands too. I think people would automatically wonder if his warts were contagious and maybe be wary of catching them but personally it wouldn-t bother me if my friend/partner was covered in warts. If I can-t catch it, what difference does it make? He seems like a nice person.

I don't recall if he said, but it looks so painful. I can understand peoples reactions and the fear of touching him because it looks contagious. But I hope more people can be compassionate and at least ask him because I'd bet he'd rather they ask him so he can educate them than having them stare and shun him.

His warts are pretty mild compared to the sufferers of this condition who live in 3rd world countries.
I think people fear contagion when it comes to conditions like this, if they understood it was genetic maybe it would be different but we are an instinctive species still.

I'd be to afraid to touch him/be intimate because any time you touch the warts you risk spreading them. This condition is caused by a poor immune system and the wart virus--human papilloma virus (HPV) and it is contagious via touch.

I think it-s absolutely ok to feel disgust when seeing this man. The Brain is wired to protect our bodies from diseases. It-s really sad but that-s biology. Babies show distress when shown spiders. I-ve read studies on that.

At least cut your nails, you can. cutting nails DOESN'T hurt, just becareful not to go into a wart. And instead of complaining, there are a lot of doctors who can get rid of most of the warts!
