I wish that one of these people would actually show some gratitude and say they like it. Either the one being transformed or their spouse.
I kind of was into goth when I was a teenager ( 20 + years ago) but I honestly thought that the gorgeous normal looking girls were a lot prettier.
Let-s face it, who actually thinks this looks more attractive than a normal looking beautiful woman, or man? Even as much as I liked goth back then, I would have thought this woman was hideous compared to her nice transformation.
It tells me that the look is more of lifestyle preference. That they want to just be weird to fit the screen of the music they like. There is no reason why this guy should be criticizing how she looks now.

You look BEAUTIFUL! And you look like YOU! I went through a very long punk rock stage. but for what? It was fun. But why go out of my way to be something I'm really not. Your husband should have been extremely pleased and more complimentary. It was like he was saying he didn't like you underneath it all. And what man truly cares about the clothes lol. I'm sorry if he made you feel anything less than beautiful because YOU ARE STUNNING -
(I do agree with him about the outfit though. She should have atleast put you in a skirt with some killer heels and a little more color)

I think the most interesting thing about these videos is alot of the time the people who see the reveal are clearly not willing to accept the person if they decided to explore outside of the goth look- and losing that kind of acceptance would then in turn ironically make you less open minded to different looks in general. Like he was SO hung up on the fact that she didn-t wear black. Versus idk complimenting any natural features that get missed with the makeup

that makeup artist was amazing. i do NOT mean she should stay looking like that, let her be herself! but the 'after' looked like she always looked like that, the M. A. did great. THE EYEBROWS! 1st of these makeover vids where the 100% fake eyebrows looked good!

Now this girl is a great artist and her character photos are amazing. I love that she didn-t disfigure or destroy herself, yet carries off the look amazingly. But again, with the makeover, she is stunning. It-s a shame her partner won-t allow her to be different sometimes.

Really funny to see, how different are the reactions of a Swedish vs an English or American. Usually English and Americans react so over the top, running around, screaming, but here nothing like that, just honest opinion with a calm sound: you still look beautiful.
