8 think the delusion is in thinking that someone can transition. You're either born a female or a male. How you act and dress has nothing to do with it. I grew up with all sisters and did a lot of feminine things with them. I'm glad my parents weren't taught this concept otherwise I would be confused in adulthood. They need to teach their kids to be comfortable with themselves. Not base their whole identity around it. I used to bark like a dog and act like one for fun. That doesn't mean the parent should -transition- me to being a dog. It's a delusion to even think that I could. Acting like a dog doesn't make me a dog. I am still human. I mean come on, this is very simple. Obviously there is ulterior motives for this logic to be mainstreamed. Mainly for physicians and surgeons to profit off this confusion and experiment on kids. These parents ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I think people going -oh well I had a boy phase and I grew out of it- are missing the point:
if the child does grow out of it, they can detransition. At that age there will be no surgical procedures done, and it will be as simple as switching back socially and possibly a legal name change back.
It does no harm how the child wants to be treated, even if it is a 'phase'. Again, worst case scenario the child detransitions and is able to return fully to how they were before. Best case scenario, the child is raised living as their authentic self and grows into a functional and healthy adult, negating much of the depression and mental strain of growing up not living as your true self.

I-m so glad she is able to be her true self. It took me over 35 years to understand that I am non-binary. I have three children. Two AFAB and one AMAB. I see no indication that any of them are transgender. My youngest - my son - loves a lot of the things that are -girl things-, including dresses, but he considers himself a boy and has never questioned his maleness to us. He does, however, vocally combat when anyone says -dresses are for girls- or anything similar. At 5, he-s very clear that -dresses are for anyone. - I couldn-t be prouder.

This is wrong. Let-s say that was really a phase, then in no way he should have had access to those sources that indoctrinated him into thinking he was a girl was the reason of this delusion. There is no way that in a normal situation a 4 YEAR OLD decides that he-s a girl. Furthermore, don-t they think that the bullying came from the fact that the mother started to upload videos on the internet of his son saying he wants to be a woman? An 8 year old saying he-s a woman is wrong, and pushing him into making that a charcterizing trait of his life is the clear result of not having a solid parenting job behind that childs back.

Please educate yourself before writing a comment! I've seen so many who seem to think that children get gender affirming surgery. That is NOT true.
Most of the time they first only transition socially, then they might start puberty blockers (which don't have long term effects, as older teenagers they might take hormones (which do have long term effects) and when they are of age they might have surgeries. And you can't just access those permanent measures, you have to get psychologically evaluated, so maybe trust that the professionals and the individuals themselves know better than you.

Why does he sound so congested? I think there is a spirit that these ppl suffer from and he just confirmed it with the stone henge comment. It was solidified once he visited there. Ppl need to realize everything is spiritual. If you know then you know. I totally understand wanting to wear pretty clothing and feeling pretty as boys do not have the options girls do but that doesn't make you a girl, nothing will make you a girl except God the creator no amount of clothing, surgeries or HRT. Just wear the pretty clothing and be satisfied. Don't let the obsession take over.

I'm not convinced that she is helping her child by depriving them of an education and quitting her job. How is she going to pay for all the surgeries and hormones in a few years? And how is she going to live with herself of her child ends up being a depressed, infertile, fetishized adult who hates their mother for letter her transition before she had a grasp of what it really entails in the long term?

At 6 I thought I was going to grow up into a boy, I was thoroughly convinced and pretty excited. But over the years that's sentiment changed and faded and I was cool with being me. Saying a 5 year old can make life altering choice and that's locked in forever is silly. You can let your kid explore styles and choices without making such extreme choices on someone who's only been alive 5 years.

Unlike the greasers, punks, hippies, goths, emos, etc, kids who -transition- will not be allowed to put that phase of their lives fully behind themselves when they finally tire of it. Children who are under 9 and know these terms have been mentally abused in my opinion, this should not be a worry or subject at this age. This is what makes people speak out against this. Children like attention and imagination. Please don't mutilate them for it.

To the people who say its a phase- Yeah, maybe it is. But she's happy, nobody is being hurt, and if she decides to be a boy that can be very easily done. Just follow the kid's lead when it comes to gender. It's not complicated, everything that has been done is reversible.

As a human person, I can say that being yourself requires no effort. I don't even know any girls, or women who wear -girl- clothes when they are just relaxing at home. If you have to try so hard to be yourself, you aren't actually being yourself.
