I have the same condition and was diagnosed after I gave birth to my second son. I was 24 and told I had 3 to 7yrs to live. I finished nurseing school and never gave up. My Son just turned 24! No one can give you a expiration date, only GOD can! I'm healthier now then before! There are 5 types and levels to PPH. So every case is different.
We didn't have health insurance growing up. As a child I coughed ALL the time and couldn't catch my breath. Couldn't run as fast as others as i'd get winded. My heart would speed up and slow down. My family called me a hypochondriac. I knew I wasn't like my 4 siblings. My son and I nearly died while giving birth and that's how mine was detected.
I wish you the best. I'm turning 48 next week, stay positive!

Her attitude is everything! So strong minded! I couldn-t imagine going through something like that! I see videos like this and I think - why the hell am I crying for? I have literally NOTHING to be depressed about! I-m sitting here wasting my life away while there-s someone out there that only has a few years to live! And would give anything to be around a lot longer! I have nothing to show for-

It's amazing how much science has progressed. I'm a diabetic and I wear a glucose monitor for 2 weeks at a time on my arm. It's saving my life and has made everything way more manageable. All though her condition is fatal It's amazing she doesn't have to be hooked up to a machine in a hospital to live. 20 years ago I would never have thought they would have technology like we do now.

My son in law was born with Idopathic pulmonary Arterial hypertension. At 17yo he had a double lung transplant, with new lungs that were not affected his heart was able to recover over the following months. It is now 3 years later and he met my daughter and has a child himself

She's warrior! That looks like Medtronic products. I have insulin pump the tubing all she's using is exactly I use. My sister in law she uses Medtronic pain pump. It's truly amazing how medication and technology has came along.

I often wonder how people go through such hardship such as these. I'm thinking because they have the love and support of family and or a partner. I can't imagine going through this since I have none of these. I would just say, forget it!

3-5 years! Omg, with young children. My wish is that she gets as much time with her boys as God will permit. She is seriously brave. I have horrible death anxiety, and I don't even have children, so I really can't imagine.

it's the same with type 1 diabetes, you have to have it attached with you 24/7 and have to change it too every 3 days. it's called an insulin pump. keep in fighting. xx
