There is a line of the Subculture that is from the Fairies (they are those who love fantasy as she likes it) so the essence of Goblin/Elf could have been maintained, only by changing it to dark tones, it was not necessary that use pure and exclusively black (although it is the tone that we generally use, you could have used dark tones such as purple, dark red, dark green, dark blue, etc. -
Her hair could have been kept, maybe not in two pigtails, but loose or something similar. -
The look they gave her is rather Gothic, rather than Goth. Her style reminds me of Mori Girl (forest girl) style that was pretty popular in the Japanese subculture fashion scene in the 2010-s! So happy to see how brilliantly she-s pulling it off! Her goth style is absolutely gorgeous too!

Gotta say that the -Goth Look- is fabulous! Agree that the make up is beautiful. The -Fairy style- is way too girly for my liking. I can't imagine her one day being 70 years old and still dressing like a fairy. -
