COULD THIS WOMAN be the 'hottest modern Viking'? 25-year-old Freya, from Bavaria, Germany, is known on social media for dressing as a 'modern Viking' every day. Since she was a little girl, Freya has been fascinated by Viking history after her father gifted her a book about time travel. Two years ago, Freya, who worked as a model, decided to fully embrace the lifestyle as a modern Viking woman after feeling fed up with the 'fake Instagram world'. When she posted a video on TikTok sharing her makeup look inspired by the popular TV series, 'Vikings', Freya was surprised to find herself going viral. Freya told Truly: For me, the Viking lifestyle represents living to the real Nordic culture, living up to the Northern gods, appreciating the world they gave us and connecting with your ancestors

Many people combine Vikings with Nazis because both of them only want to marry someone with the same ethnicity and believe in cultural purity. Some similarities between Nazis and Vikings are both groups have been associated with violence and aggression, and both have been known to use symbols and imagery that evoke a sense of power and dominance. Other similarities between Vikings and Nazis are their focus on physical strength and the glorification of violence, as well as their belief in a superior race or culture. The Viking women tend to be racist towards non-white women because they believe that their culture and traditions are superior to others, and they fear that non-white women will steal from their men. The Viking women were also very masculine and feminist before their time. It's very hard for a foreigner especially someone who is non-white to like Vikings, because they aren't very lovable, they are rude, and have a reputation for being violent and pillaging. - However some people are ignorant and use the vikings for wrong causes in reality the vikings loved multiculturalism and embraced trade and cultural exchange with people from different regions, including the Middle East and Asia. It's important to understand the historical context and not judge a whole culture based on stereotypes or misconceptions.

I don't know where she lives, but she should be friends with the Viking Queen Sol. I think the Viking style and faith is very beautiful; but I cannot handle the movies of all the fighting and pillaging. Now my son is a Viking and he is very happy and has truly found himself. I would love to dress in the style and possibly follow the faith, I'm just trying out various faiths to see which one best fits me. I hope she has much success and a happy life: ) btw I loved her last dress; very beautiful and cozy for winter

It's one part to dress up as a viking and portraying yourself as a viking on social media that is quite the easiest part. How about living like a viking? Chopping wood all day to keep the house warm, not relying on modern tech, growing your own food etc. Your husband would be gone most of the time sailing. Does it still sound nice to you? also I don't think viking women took 2 hours to get ready each day. They had a lot of work to do.

How lovely. I'm drawn to the Vikings too, and in spite of my colouring, I've just found out through a DNA test that I have quite a bit of Norwegian DNA. I was amazed by this! I'm looking for a nice wool apron dress that wouldn't look so out of place today, to wear in the winter as a change. The ones in this video are gorgeous!

No Vikings Age, these cultures she's basing this on are not Viks. They are called NORSE/ Norsemen, from Sweden the Svear.
Scandinavia didn't exist until 1800rds, She needs to do more Research at Northern Universities.
She looks cool though!

I love this for them! As a history teacher, it is so fun to see people living their best lives through historical portrayals. Who cares if it is a more -modern-viking look, it still does the time period justice. Beautiful couple, keep it up!

Well, it makes sense that Viking men would give Viking women cats. Have you ever heard of a Norwegian Rat? Those things would eat babies.

I'm sure vikings spent hours dressing themselves, doing hair and makeup to look amazing. and that was their main trait.
