He-s beautiful both with and without his tattoos. I do feel there was a tiny bit of him that missed a small piece his un-inked self though.
He seemed genuinely heartbroken regarding his daughter-s negative reaction to his ink free appearance.
It was as though he had come to terms w the pain he had endured in his past. He has has long since accepted his painful past & way of comforting himself. He now seems ready to move on past that phase. if only his family were equally as ready for him to do so.
Sadly, I believe he was desperately waiting for his daughters reaction. She unfortunately did not give him the reaction he was crossing his fingers for. So instead, he chose to say, -His tats are forever a part of him and something he will never be without. - He chose to console her.
To me, Her response clearly upset him. That-s why he kept repeating, -Com-on. Give me a hug I will always be the same person with or without tattoos. I am still the same person. - He seemed frustrated & broken hearted with her reaction.
Sadly I really did believe that at this stage of his life, he would-ve been willing to give his new appearance a chance. Or at least, his family a chance to get used to it. He only chose to say, -He would never get rid of his ink. - in order to comfort his daughter.
He was nervous to show his family his covered tats for a reason. It was as though he wanted permission to go back to his old self and be accepted either way. Perhaps one day, His wife his daughter and his son will all be mature enough to recognize he is the same beautiful soul with or without ink.
He deserves to be released from the pain he took on for his daughter so many years ago. Now it-s her turn to release him from that very same pain. His wife needs to assist him. She needs to stop commenting, -YOU LOOK SOO DIFFERENT! - She-s just reenforcing and enabling a misunderstanding that keeps dad in a depressed state.

I once had a friend many, many years ago who was covered in tattoos, plus some piercing, and he had small devil horns implants under his skin. He was the first any of us had ever seen before. Wow! He was so handsome, and very highly intelligent, but sadly he had an incredible hard time finding a job. During that time being fully tattooed wasn't a thing to do. He started stressing, later he moved away, and I never heard from him again. I think about him all the time, and hope he is doing well. I oftentimes wonder what type of work do people do who are so fully inked, besides becoming a tattoo artist, or a mixologist. Not everyone has the skills. Is it even easy to find work?

I was raised that tattoos were a sin because your body is a temple of the lord, but after a certain age you really start to question that-why did my ancestors have tattoos then? The Mayans were not only tatted up but they but scars on their body. I get the whole body is a temple, because you really should treat your body right but what is so wrong with tattoos? I just don-t get that part. Unfortunately I made a promise to my mom to never get a tattoo (which I super regret) so I-m very jealous of people that have them. My son wants tattoos and I told him I-ll allow it if only his first tattoo is about me! Hahaha!

I think getting this many tattoos especially full coverage on the face, is a form of self harm. Like when people have this many, they experienced some sort of trauma that makes them do this. I think they deserve to express themselves, but tattoos are really painful and to go this far changes one's self image. I want a few tattoos myself and have no issue with it, but people need to be aware this is self harm to a degree.

I have a couple tattoos, nowhere near what this dude has, but even seeing his initial photo/video, it didn-t occur to me to think he was a -bad person-. People value all the wrong things in others.
Tattoos allow us to show MORE of ourselves to the world. Beautiful!

His tatts are awesome! It's great to see people feel free to express themselves however they want, and not worry what other people think of them. I laughed so much when his daughter was laughing at him covered up, it was so stinking cute! A lot of judgemental people think that tattoo's make a person, but they don't, if anything, when people express themselves in whatever way, it helps with their confidence and makes them who they are, and that's beautiful

Our opinion doesn't matter. To his children, he is the most beautiful man on Earth. His wife and his family adore him. The love in his home is a lovely thing to see. They are clearly a happy, loving family. So whatever we may think - whether we think his tattoos are fabulous, or whether we don't, I don't think he would give a flying f-ck either way.
