People can leave a bad taste in your mouth, you always go over the thing? they said, meaning they left a negative impression with you intentionally that's how you can tell if the visit or encounter with that person was with good intent or bad. Always pray with love after they leave in my experience.

I use to have a bad experience when I was a student. I got wet in the rain on the way to a university, but when I got there, I was noticed that my teacher couldnt come and our lecture was canceled. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

The administration at my English course centre left a bad taste in my mouth. Something negative and unfriendly was emanating from them. But probably it was just the result of my world vision.
