1. She's not black, she's mixed. Not debatable, and I don't care or believe in racial identities. Let's not get bogged down in semantics. Her Mom in Indian, her Dad is Jamaican including some white ancestry (from a slave owner!)
2. She is not an American Descendant of Slavery (ADOS). We understand that some of her Jamaican ancestors were slaves, but ADOS do not want our culture, people, and historical experiences conflated with everyone else who is racially black. This is a way of erasing our identity.
