video description
I wonder how much is instinct vs. learned behavior! My dad was paralyzed in Vietnam & was given an infant Capuchin by a friend who couldn't bare to see an infant euthanized because they didn't have a buyer & couldn't find anyone to take her (this was in 1969) dad raised her & you couldn't argue w/him w/o a whole lot of chittering & screeing etc, she never got physical but would jump to his knee from his shoulder & give you a good scolding!

I saw in the comments that there were no monkey H8s in the comments. Well let me be the first to say that they are vile vermin tree rats. And if I ever get the chance to get a baby monkey it probably wont make it through the first week. First it would be a thump fest all over its filthy screeching body. And spin it on the floor so fast it will take forever for its satan like eyes to stop jerking back and forth! LOL it would be so much fun!

In an alternate universe, these capuchin are given chains and knives and pitted against each other in highly popular cage matches. 'More capuchins are killed by each other' rings true nightly, as the little primates stab and slash their way to stardom, or more likely an early and painful death. Once, one of the monkey champions escaped and went on a rampage. He killed six rats and one frog before he was subdued.

This might give you pause if you are thinking about a Capuchin for a pet. Even Pete Moss had Monkey-Boo's nuts and teeth removed. Definitely a smart move.

White faced capuchins and their awful screaming seem to have come straight out of hell. Disgusting beast. I literally want to smack them through the screen.

Aww it's so lovely to see them soothing and taking care of eachother after battle! I think this proves that love exists in other creatures as well as humans!
