After a helicopter ride, the now healthy Orangutans are released into a protected research area, the perfect location for them to be released back into the wild. Great clip from the second series of BBC natural history documentary Orangutan Diary

This makes me wanna buy a little capuchin from a breeding facility and keep it as a pet and raise it as a child. Then when it begins biting I'll have it's canines pulled out and dump his at a sanctuary when he acts up. I can give it a teddy bears to substitute for it's mother as it rocks back and fourth from emotional distress. But at least I can make cute YouTube videos.

Freedom whilst having zero privacy being monitored and fed all its life, why lie about? Just tell the truth. They get fed daily, vet check ups and they are monitored all day. There is nothing wrong with that. These people love to act all self righteous about doing job that most people would pay to do.

When people release a wild animal detained in captivity for years, it is benefited first for the animal but also for Humans and Nature as each species has a role to play in the Biodiversity!

We have a duty of care to these magnificent beasts. If your relative is a bit slow on the uptake you help them even more. The same can be said of our distant cousins.
