Amanda Burton helps two bears into their new enclosure before they are ready to be returned to the wild. Morgan: You can never return a bear to the wild. Ask anyone who works with bears me
Bears have a passing of knowledge that they will receive from their mother for the first 2 to 3 years. This knowledge will tell bears what to eat, what not to eat, what is safe, what is dangerous, aka humans.
I don't know what is going on but if she release them they will end up being kill by humans or by male bears.

Ok, I rarely comment but this is crazy! i just watched a BBC doc series on the war of 1812 earlier today& learned about Tecumseh! I'm embarrassed to admit I wouldn't have known who the bear was named after if i had watched this 8 hrs ago. He was an incredible man who is owed WAY more credit than he gets. Anyway, thank you for the wonderful work you do. They're adorable &u guys rock!

They are already at habituated and she goes back in this will be a dead bear if released. If they want them in the wild give them to some one who knows how to do it not just make them pets

Pity no trees for them to climb, they need to practice that for the wild, climbing fencing isnt the same. See Appalachian Bear Rescues facilities.
