It's like one of those sports game. Where its two underdogs and you dont know who to favor the win. Felt bad for the elephant- but the lions needed to eat ( I'm not a meat eater- but it's like the cow, pig, etc- it's the animal or )
But wow wow what an exciting exhilarating piece of video on the kill.
The lions looked wilder than normal, the darkness with the lightning added intrigue, mystery and suspense. The music, oh my gosh the music and the lightening final - it was magnificent!
Great narration also.

Lions are not sweet. they are violent and obnoxious, not unlike humans. whats up with BBC? all the videos from BBC exhibit a fetish for animals killing each other?

I love lions! It always amazes me how they go from helpless little balls of fluff to successful, deadly apex predators in 3-4 years! A formidable beast, indeed!

Tbh when I was younger I honestly thought elephants had no predators besides poachers. I thought they were respected amongst the animal kingdom.

Unlucky elephant. what a hideous way to go, surrounded, feeling all the lions' jaws biting him or her. I love big cats, but feel for their prey.
