Painted Wolves: How Pack Mentality Ensures their Survival BBC Earth

Painted Wolves need to compete against much bigger and dangerous predators and staying together is the key to their survival. Lass-in: We did not come here to see commentators preening in front of the camera, the backs of their heads, and focus on their faces. Commentators should speak little and never be seen. It is Narcissistic behavior to insert your human faces onto the screen in place of the animals we came to see. No need for that. Stick to looking at the mirror at home and spare us. I want to see the Painted Wolf, the lioness, trees, and grass. Not humans. And cut the yakking to a minimum. So patronizing to animals. They are not objects to be dissected with your walkie talkies. Shut up and roll the film and stay in the car.

Fake wildlife programmes like this are boring, all softy and gooey.
Theres a reason why African Wild dogs have a 80% kill ratio the highest of all the predators in Africa I might add.
There vicious creatures that eat there kills ALIVE!
Rob the Ranger videos will show the true nature of these Apex predators.

Video becomes useless after 4: 00 or so. If I wanted shots and angles of humans cackling and talking I wouldn't be watching a nature show. At the very least show more animal footage while the two women state the obvious and drivel on.

They care for the sick and elderly, and allow the young to eat first. Extremely pack-oriented and protecting of each other. Also, the documentary on Solo the lone wild dog, was absolutely fascinating. Love this species so much!

I'm surprised leopards have the ability to hold a prey as much as their size, and goe up a tree like this. I mean, they must hold onto a gree using their full paws, not just their claws.

Man, I think African wild dogs have to be my favourite African predators after hyenas, because they are truly incredible, so loyal, such successful hunters and yet very misunderstood.

The most amazingly altruistic creatures on the planet, with the absolute most vicious killing style. They literally eat their prey alive and standing up, one bite at a time.

I love the series, but was kind of sad that they didn't kind of do the different species for each episode thing. There are no birds, fish or reptile in the series

This lioness just came there to say Hi and talk about recent savannah rumors, but those rude dogs told some vulgar words to her so she left: /
