Evolution isn't as smart as we think. If the buffalo just stood in a circle, horns outward, and waited, the wolves wd be helpless.

Hard but, she made it. Such a brave mom. I hope when adult, this calf is not going to throw mom in a nursing home as humans do.

nature is so cruel, if they dont get the calf then the pups die. if they get the calf then the buffalo would be devastated.
