They will probably be raised in a cage since second year, having giant needles stuck on their liver for bile extraction, screaming their lungs out for too much pain, and die in very young age. I saw it on liveleaks. It is one of the most terrible things you can see in your life.

He may think he knows the bear and is safe, not really, I hope they had a gun on one of the crew just in case. You never know what the bear has experienced between visits, the bear could have had an encounter earlier that put it on edge where getting face to face means death for the old man.
