These remind me of monarch butterflies from the USA in terms of coloration. Monarchs migrate as well, but I think it's for the seasons and not so much for food.
I think Monarchs have another defense, in that they taste so terrible, frogs wouldn't go after them.

The frogs sitting there looking up contemplated how to get those butterflies which were out of their tongue reach. Eureka! Nature is beautiful but ruthless: either eat or get eaten. I like the background drum beats near the end as the feasting began.
