I love cats, of all sizes! I especially love bob cats & their cute little tails! Native to North America, they have less and less habitat in which to roam. They're frequently hit by cars, killed by hunters, trappers and poachers. Although they're not considered endangered, it's a shame that they're not treated with greater respect. They're beautiful creatures and an important predatory species.

Why are you trying to breed the bob cat? Unless you have plans to introduce it back in the wild, what for? I can imagine how hard it is for a natural mother to rear a kitten to adulthood and freedom, a human attempting such is rather dubious.

Lynxes in my country are endangered because of inbreeding. But thats only lynxes; there are also servals, lions, tigers. We really need to protect all members of Felidae family.
