This was an excellent video! The fun way you guys directed it makes it super appealing to younger audiences, who really need to discover the wonderful world of books: ) As a brazilian I'm excited to learn more about this region, since we tend to separate ourselves culturally from our south american neighbours, mostly because of language barriers (portuguese x spanish) and physical distance

spoiler alert: it isn't all magical realism
Man, yeah, I have no idea why magical realism was such a big thing here. So much of the 20th century literature we read at school in Argentina was magical realism, and I still don't know why that was such a massive thing.
