Nature will make any stark line fuzzy this exactly! Anybody looking for a foolproof binary in nature is going to be disappointed. Our reality is complex, and it doesn’t owe you easy explanations. People who defy the structure have always existed.

It's not even just about the chromosomes, but also about the levels of expression of those chromosomoes. Epigenetics can also play a factor in how the body develops.
