What I hate about racism is that racist people do know WE DID NOT CHOSE OUR RACE. I am Indian-German, but my eyes and nose are VERY much my Indian side, my blue eyes is from my German mother - yet I still get racism attacks from the US. I DID NOT CHOSE MY RACE IN THE FIRST PLACE, HOW IS THAT MY FAULT? I wish I can magically turn those people who are racist towards me INTO Indians too the magic that all they can remember is that THEY ARE BORN INDIAN not by magic, and FACE RACISM from other races too, SEE HOW IT FEELS. don-t misunderstand me, I love both being Indian and German, WHAT I MEAN IS, I WISH WE CAN PUT THEN IN OUR SHOES TO MAKE THEM FEEL THE WAY WE FEEL TOWARDS THEM. so they can realize IF WE CAN ONLY CHANGE OUR RACE FOR THEM WE WOULD, BUT SORRY IF WE HAPPENED TO BE THE RACE THEY HATE.

How is there systematic racism if there is tons of black leaders? There are a record number of black leaders and mayors that run major cities. 42 percent of woman are black in congress? Not only that but we had a black president we have blacks in the 1 percent of the most richest people in America? We have so many opportunities it's insane we have affirmative action which means you can get into college just for being black. I'm not understanding can someone explain. If The system is also ran by black folks how is it racist? Also how is the president racist if he has policies that help the black community?

How is it going to go from talking about institutionalized racism, and saying that elevated sickness and death is nobody's fault in particular; but then next slide say that prejudice is someone's strategy. Is the definition of institutionalized racism really defined as a Strategy of another group? because it seems thought bubble is saying that it is fact.

I find it concerning that ethnicity in the west is defined by politicians, banks, corporations, tech companies, and immigrants. It looks like ethnic cleansing in order for the leaders of this oligarchy to cease control of the west and ensure no one has the ability to rise up and save their people from this tyranny

45% of Immigrant households are on welfare, 27% of natives are. 60% of Hispanic immigrant households are on welfare and 47% of black immigrant households are on welfare. This is according to the top immigrant economist George Borjas, who is a Cuban immigrant himself.

There is no way that you can study 'race' in isolation from society's other stratifying mechanisms. It is not possible to do a crash course in sociology. I taught the subject at a high level for years. This is watered-down drivel for the snowflake generation.

Wait, so if more white people are on welfare more than black people, and the people on welfare are more likely to need the assistance, does that mean there is systemic racism against white people?
Sigh, now I'm even more confused.

I hope to see this video updated. Especially in light of recent events. Starting out with -Racism is a loaded term- just sets the tone. It exemplifies white fragility, and it's coming from a white woman.

It-s amazing so many people thumb down a video that explains racism. I think they-re missing the irony or they didn-t watch the video and understand it. -
