My co worker had to get rid of his fish tank and offered to donate his upside down catfish and oh man i did not know I was in for a treat. He's hilarious to watch and he doesnt bother any of the other fishies (mollies and platys) and keeps to himself in his own little hut he spends most of his time in, until its feeding time and hes right up the surface hoovering while, you guessed it, upside down. Not sure if it applies to most but hes quite skittidh and if you do catch him swimming outaide his hut, its usually not long before he literally ZOOMS back into his hut.

Very misleading by not mentioning that a great number of fish do not have a swim bladder. Trying to make your point that this fish is unique and interesting by omitting the obvious is lazy and insulting to the viewer.

Went to the pet store today for tetra. Came home with a badass bright yellow upside downer. They didn't even realize they had him. Probably 3 inches or so. Already upside down inside a piece of decor.

Mine is much bigger than I was told it would get. Used to hide all the time, but now he is buddies with the bichirs.

One of my favorite fish in my family tank growing up was my upside down catfish. Such interesting little buggers.
