My first lucid dream, I haven't had many, I tried to fly. I'll never forget thinking -OK! FLY! - - and then my face SLAMMING into the ground, while my body -flies- against the ground. I was like a dead NPC that had bugged out. Just spinning around with my head planted firmly into the ground.
I read online that flying just using -magic- is extremely hard, and flying using an object was much easier. The only other time I've -flown- I used a big parachute and a massive amount of water. I was basically just wind surfing, but it was super awesome.
It's been months, maybe even a year since that happened. Hoping I keep having more.
If this helps anyone, I find that I have a very specific dreaming sleep position. If I lay on my back with my head facing straight up to the ceiling I often have many more vivid dreams. But I also have many more nightmares and sleep paralysis events.
And, don't discount dream journals. Even if you don't write them down, if you wake up with a memory of a dream, try to remember every single bit of it that you can. Training your brain to remember dreams has seemed to be one of the easier aspects of intense dreaming. Though for me personally, that has involved writing down a handful of the most complex ones.

Maybe the reason blind ppl have more nightmares is because of the fact that they are more aware of what could happen to them as they have no sight so they may be fearful of something more than sighted ppl cuz if someone or something was trying to harm them or if they were to hit or left somewhere alone they can-t see it coming they just with their gut or other senses like when someone attack another from behind we may sense it so we turn around and have the chance to stop it but if we can-t see then we don-t know where they r so they are more vulnerable like that they r probably on higher alert because like they can-t see what going on as they see what-s happening and may have more of the feeling of being left alone because someone could leave with them noticing so some of this stuff may come up in their dreams or because they can-t see they may question how things look so if something is scary to them they don-t know what it looks like it-s could be down the the sensations they feel during the dream even when they are awake

Maybe other reason for deja vu is because we acted out something in our reality that we did in our dream like when we forget most of our dreams but it may be somewhere in our subconscious mind and we did it in real life but we feel like it happened because it was in our dream also like maybe certain deaths by suicide is because ppl was dream walking and ended up jumping off a building with realising it what during sleep paralysis the creatures that r seen r acting trying to kill u but u resist and wake up I-ll get woken up like when something weird happens in ur life and ur don-t realise until later maybe because that same thing was in ur dream

My Grandpa died Jan 2018. I am devastated. Right afterwards, I dreamt about him a lot. At the end of one dream, I heard him say: -I love yooouuuuuuu-. -
I can still hear his voice and tone now as I write this and it-s Sept 4, 2021-. The details of the dream are fuzzy but I still remember some but I definitely hear his voice consistently in these past 3yrs and it hasn-t faded.
He never told me this in life.
Was that-s dream? Or a visitation? Or I made it up in my mind and can-t let it go?

I actually have something called narcolepsy which without my Medicine makes me fall asleep all the time. This however ends at night because my medicine runs out, this leads me to fall much deeper into sleep and thus I have mastered lucid dreaming. Every night every time I sleep I lucid dream very deeply. Only upside to my illness.
this also leads to me getting sleep paralyzed very often which sucks especially when I was younger and couldn-t explain it to my parents. -

Ive come to the point where im now scared of dreaming. Lately ive only been getting beautiful dreams and often include people that ive lost, relationship-wise and family. I keep seeing them in amazing scenarios only to wake up with the power slap of reality. I once again remember what i lack and what i probably will never have again. So yeah, even the most beautiful dreams can be more of a curse than an escape. Sleep just doesnt seem like resting anymore

I have lucid dreams quite often, I have learned that while dreaming if I try too hard to do something in the dream I will wake up, if I go with the flow of the dream then it will last a long time. Some dreams seem to go on for weeks at a time.
Another very strange thing is I never have lucid dreams with people that were close to me that have passed away. They are always in my normal dreams. In lucid dreams everyone feels like strangers to me.

Does anybody else experience a dream, where it does come true but the dream and reality are slightly if not majorly different from each other? For example I had a nightmare once, about a tornado hitting my house before I moved, and it would kill me. Well, in reality, the moving part came true but the tornado thing never happened. So I guess dreams do sometimes show you what might happen in the future but in an alternate universe?

I just had a dream about being one of the people who are living on Mars, trying to colonize it. It is so vivid I remember having to see Jupiter as a dominating figure in the sky. I ended up looking up if you can see Jupiter from Mars the way I saw it in my dreams, however I am quite disappointed that you-ll see Jupiter from Earth the same way from Mars, just a spec of light and you still need telescopes.

like legit 1 day after this video, I experienced sleep paralysis and it was actually kinda cool. So I woke up -hearing- My friend's voice on the phone. Or at least I thought so. So I reached for my phone but I couldn't move. So I tried calling my friend's name but I couldn't form any words. The only noise that came out of my mouth was a light moaning sound.

I had a beautiful life breaking lucid dream. I was in a world in a cloud world, with a bunch of different shit. I had broken out. The world shattered l, was free. It was like I was in a different timeline, able to expand time
To hundreds of years, and I had developed my own world. I had lived multiple lives in a night. Best word to describe it, trippy

I think why people always dream weird things (moving objects, disorded people, changing locations etc) has to do with what we see in life. Our minds register everything that we pass by. Locations, people, objects. And then the brains get filled and they start to smush together those images. That's why our dreams are weird. Well this is my theory

I've always been able to lucid dream. I've even woken up and went -nope this dream is too good to end-, gone back to sleep and finished the dream. As a kid I had a recurring nightmare for months and after a couple weeks it would start and I'd be like UGH not this again, and try to outsmart it. I learned later in life this isn't normal?

I don't have dreams i can remember very often. Are we all dreaming every night during REM sleep? I didn't see if that was explained, or why some dreams are memorable but others are not. When i do remember, my dreams don't make sense and i usually have feelings of terror or discomfort.

Well I kinda met my soulmate in one of my dreams and woke up only to realise that she never existed. She was simply a fiction of my brain, but to this date I remember her face but it doesn't bear any resemblance to anyone I know. Crazy lol. but i was disappointed when i woke up.

I once had a dream with a long storyline then I got woken up before it was finished, for years after that I always wondered what would have happened. Then one night I actually returned to where I left off and got to finish the dream. That-s the weirdest dream story I have.

Sleep paralysis happens to me a bit. Feels like a slow motion wake up. First you realize your awake, but for me I feel like my limbs weigh tons and everything feels slow motion. But once I can actually move my arm or whatever everything comes back -online-.

I always know when I'm dreaming and I can wake myself up at any time. I even tried to communicate with other people that I see by telling them messages and informing them to call me in the morning to see if they got it. Of course it never works LOL

Ive had sleep paralysis many times, usually if my sleep schedule is messed up. It-s one of the most unsettling things I-ve experienced. Usually I see a shadow in my room or feel like someone is hovering over me but I can-t turn over to see

I have horrible dreams where terrible things happen to me and around me. I never knew why but I think it could be my brain -simulating- the experience to gain control. If I experienced a lot of these things in real life I would come undone.

I hate dreaming about the past. I've dreamt about my ex gf like a dozen times now and most of the time, the dreams were about us breaking up. I ended up waking up from sleep with tears in my eyes and i continued to crying.

I have sleep paralysis often. I can induce it, and I love the feeling. It's a huge adrenaline rush, and often terrifying, but it's so bizarre that my curiosity takes over, and leaves me wanting more every time.

do you know how many god damn times I had dreams where I realized I was in a dream?
but get this, they were't actual realizations, they were just apart of the dreams' plot.

Man you were doing sooo well until you got to DMT. There is so much you could have said. But totally dropped the ball once you had a clean shot for the goal.
