PREHISTORIC PLANET. Dinosaur size comparison chart

PREHISTORIC PLANET. Dinosaur size comparison chart

Size comparison chart of the dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals that appeared in the Prehistoric Planet series by the BBC, focussed on the Maastrichtian, late Cretaceous. Without a human figure in the show, sometimes one could lose the sense of scale of these animals, so hopefully this could help to give some perspective. Many of these animals have been featured in previous videos, so I gave more emphasis to the new ones These dinosaurs are cool looking but almost all of them are your designs Its like making a video with the same type of dinosaurs from the show but slapping prehistoric planet on it and I love your content but this I wouldnt call prehistoric planet of just call it mario lanzes common content.

After watching this video, you've given me inspiration to make my own Prehistoric Planet creatures size comparison. I just wanted to ask that can I base my size comparison on yours? OFC I'll leave your credits in the description, as well as a link to this masterpiece.

I love most of the models here. The Quinzhousaurus, and all the other dinosaurs here, look absolutely amazing. However, if I had one critique, it's that the mononykus looks really weird. It honestly looks deformed.

Yes let's gooo!
This really makes me want videos on alvarezsaurs and oviraptorids, they're seriously underrated dino families!
Also, thank you for not call the troodontid -Troodon-.

Love the vid but 2 things you missed the anodontosaurus that appeared in the same cut as the atrociraptor and there was no stegouros, the ankilosaurus there was an antarctopelta
reply

Wow, it's just awsome, it'd be awsome to see like the old JP comparison with their real counterparts but this time with Camp Cretaceous, with drawing of the CC designs and everything

Your videos are always so impressive to watch! A large printed map of the world during the Maastrichtian featuring these animals in their respective environments would be so cool

Excellent video paleoart is incredible and the series maybe one day you could make a video with your favorite prehistoric creatures I'm from Mexico greetings --

You should consider doing a video showing recently extinct animals, like the Steller's Sea Cow, Quagga, Tasmanian Wolf, Haast's Eagle and the Dodo -

I'm gonna leave some of my suggestions for next month just so you know. I want to see an amphibian size comparison video in next month, please.

It would have been nice if all of them had the bottom of their foot at the same level as the bottom of your foot. By the way, how tall are you?
reply

Also, I think this is legitimately the first drawing of a Nanuqsaurus I have ever seen that hasn't made it look like a dino polar bear.

You shrink wrapped the barbarodactylus and the phosphatodraco in the size comparison
Draco was 9 ft. tall
Barbaro was 5 ft. tall

Those little guys that are probably babies: uh how did we get her-

for something thats 15 to 18 meters the mosasaurus looks pretty undersized compared to t rex which is 12 meters(estimate)
reply

its funny how on Olorotitan says Wingspan rather then length so Olorotitan was hiding a secret it had secret wings
reply

-WHY- are his feet mostly in the water? Just have the feet of the creature exactly lined up with the human's.
reply

it'd be nice if they made one with all the dinosaurs in the same time period as spinosaurus in season 2
reply

Honestly tho the new quetzalcoatlus is very goood the old quetz was good to and that rex was fire
reply

i thought the small grey sauropod at the end of the series was magyarosaurus not paludititan

this video has been out for 6 months now and I don't think I have had time to appreciate it

This is great! But where was the elasmosaurus, he was also on a prehistoric planet!
