Top 10 Facts - Unsolved Mysteries [Part 1]
video description
If she was a spy she must have been one of the worst spies of all time, since she did too many obvious things, like use different identities in the same cities (or the fact that she constantly used different identities, a spy would more likely build 1 strong cover-identity instead of 10 weak ones, being pretty obvious in wearing wigs, and having a strong smell om garlic. A spy would probably want to be as discrete as possible so youd never even suspect he/she was a spy.
The Isdal-woman did more or less the exact oposite.
Her using wigs was probably because of a skin-disease on her body and head. Her smelling garlic was probably a way for her to counter seizures (strong smells are know for some to in fact counter seizures. The pills was her own. She used them against said seizures.
I dont think it was a suicide, but a tragic accident. She went hiking and while deciding to rest she picked out some food and water while starting a fire.
Then she felt a seizure coming. She knew she was far from people who could help her, so she started to stress. She took a couple of pills at first, but they didnt work. Starting to panic she took more of them before sitting down and leaning towards the rock to not fall over. She started to calm and lighted a cigarette, thinking the seizure was over. It was not. It came back and this time it made her lose her cigarette on her clothes which lit her on fire.
And the rest is history of an unsolved mystery.

Regarding the Voynich Manuscript, I-m personally led to believe that the repeated use of a single word likely means that these words in particular are adverbs. For example, a sentence such as -I-m very very very excited about lunch today- still makes perfect sense, as the repeated use of the adverb -very- simply serves to intensify the following adjective. Thus, it could be inferred that this manuscript could in fact be some sort of diary or journal, or alternatively a biography. The illustrations and diagrams could simply be imaginative drawings of whatever could have been on the author-s mind, strengthening the idea that this manuscript is a diary/journal.

has anyone ever heard a radio station when nothing is actually playing? there have been a handful of nights in my life when i've been on the edge of sleeping where i've heard incredibly clearly a repeating broadcast (often with a number, which i think is a phone number. in all seriousness, there are no radios around, no computers, no speakers were on. it was clear enough, and repeated enough that on one occasion i've actually written down the number. other times i've just continued towards sleep. it's happened maybe 5 times in my life, but if i were to make a prediction it would be that certain signals were picked up by my semi-conscious mind.

I like Cracked's theory on the Voynich Manuscript: It is written in plain English by someone who is extremely shitty at writing in plain English. In all seriousness, the lighthouse thing has a very simple explanation: they got swept away by a surprise wave. It answers everything except for the mystery journal entries. Those are so crazy it's almost like someone made them up. and that's because they did. The earliest reports about it don't say anything about this journal, it got tacked onto the story later. A similar thing happened with the Dyatlov Pass incident and the unexplainable radiation.

-Why would someone create the Voynich manuscript as nonsense? -, he asks
Clearly don't understand the mind of a severe narcisist
Unfortunately for him, no one really gave it any though before some Voynich guy got it, when he was already super dead.
And of course, not even he cared, he's just a great business men, saw the value in that manuscript and created an aura about it that made its value go up exponentially. Genius

It's weird to see at number 2 something I saw myself just a few years ago. At least whatever I saw looked like that. Could've been a plane maybe, but a friend of mine saw it from a different part of town. Was flying pretty low, the entire house shook when it passed over. I am quite skeptical, but I would like to know what the hell it is was exactly.

The lighthouse thing: How about CO poisioning? Nobody is in his right senses, one imagnies a storm, another one is crying and one is strangely quiet. Finally they make a very wrong desicion and leave, one of them doesn't care and didn't even take a livevest.

The Isdal woman is a mystery that really gets to me. The curious fact not mentioned here is how she stopped bathing some time before her death. Staying in nice hotels, with quality clothing but extreme bad hygiene? Just so strange.

I hope in the future we can travel a few hundred/thousand/million lightyears in a short time so we can rewatch what happened and make sense of it. (without time travelling and involuntarily creating a butterfly effect.

The lighthouse mystery has already been solved. The journal did not exist. It was a lie. They were swept out to sea.

Ah. This vid is kinda old.
Multiple stories here have been debunked now, they're more urban legend than anything.

fun-facts
Supposedly the log entries from the lighthouse are fake, and were added to the story years later to make it more spooky.
