There were five great waves of mass extinction in the history of life. The biggest disaster struck around 250 million years ago. 50: 45. the idea to bring back the Extincted Wooly Mammoth is -. to FIX (remedy) the broken gene and Rebuild it INTO COMPUTER CODING and rePRINT it again into Flesh (and blood type) of real living creature, the Mammoth. - Are you trying to impress/ astonish/stimulate the Kids mind into Enjoyable/Mavelous type of Pseodo- Science ) Better point-out what we can do and what we still cannot, and what even so impossible, instead of reaching the far-stars theme, claiming just everything is possible.
Only what we can do in Selective breeding is to choose the Desirable identities, after generations, then the goal-characters will come-out. The last choice is the insertion/ injection of selected /desirable genes directly into the egg/embryo cell of origin. Says to make it more wooly/denser hairs, make the smaller ears, higher(stronger shoulder) and the most important, to make their TUSKs at least two metres longer and curvier than existing African or Asian elephants. But how to identify those gene, and can we find those desirable genes in the rotten meat/bones of 5, 000-10, 000 years old frozen/dead corpse of such primitive elephant.

I like how they say it's a asteroid that wiped out the - but yet they not talk or show any prove. U would think that if that was true it would be very important to show what research ( evidence ) as it will happen again. It just doesn't ad up for me. But again if u can't explain cuz we just don't know u make it up like the big bang theory. It shows our ignorance not excepting the fact we really don't know.

I don't think people should recreate distinct species, but I do believe we should do our best to live in harmony with the existing ones. Only think of diseases or food chain that may affect the artificially created beings. In addition, there are many other factors that caused their disappearing, like climate change, human population, diseases, food, etc.

Has this -genius- professor given any thought to the possible future in which multinationals and states will demand and order the -production- of certain types of people ideal for various jobs? -
Of course he didn't think of it, just like all those idiots who built the atomic bomb didn't think of it.

This universe is a sim. The proof that this universe is a sim already exists.
