I set 12 V on the adaptor but when I connect it to the board, this flashes turning on and then goes off continuously. So it doesn't work. I've tried with another monitor and another board and another adaptor and it's the same. The current is not enough. If I set 9. 5 V it works for some minutes but if then goes off, when I turn it on again it flashes again. This is being an impossibile diy to me.

Hi, I know this video is old but the wiring work and electrical knowledge is fascinating to me. I want to know more. Understanding voltage and resistance of actual products, not theoretical. I am familiar with the physical work like soldering but the where do I start to learn about things in depth?

I was wondering if I could use the screen from my Sony xa2 as a monitor for a camera. I want this specific screen because its damn near indestructible. I've dropped it from scaffolding face down onto type one and it's only slightly scratched. Does any one know if it's reprogrammable? Thanks

so i dont get it: you only use 2x 18650 in parallel (therefore 3. 7v, not 7. 4v, and you step them up to 12v, but at some point, but at some point you say that you will leave them at 5v, and the screen (which is a 12v) still runs? can someone please explain that part?
