Q&A&C #2 Favourite YouTuber, Quadcopter Project, Travel Ambitions Christopher: why does every foreign person think our 120vac system is unsafe? it is literally half the voltage and contains more circuit breakers per amp. how is it less safe than your systems? please explain as I am quite confused on how 30a at 240v on a single circuit is more safe than an average of 25a at 120v not to mention how ungrounded appliances (greater than a few hundred ma) simply do not exist and the only reason ungrounded small electronics exist is because of the fact that those tiny devices will blow up under any fault condition that could cause human harm and those device often have plastic casing so no live casings can exist

When you were talking about the first time you power up a circuit for the first time and it remarkably working happend to me. My most complicated electronic project. A solid state tesla coil. After weeks of construction I finally finished. After setting it up I turned it on ballasted. And I got small discharges. I removed the ballast and released its full power! 18cm arcs!

Hi, thanks for your great videos! To keep my question simple, I have an AC powered sub woofer which is used in my home surround sound system. When it is plugged into a grounded ac outlet, it hums loudly. The only way i could stop the humming was to eliminate the ground pin by using a ground to a no ground adapter. Can you suggest a better fix? Thanks!

First of all I can say, you're not in a hurry but I usually am since I watch everything in double speed. A for me smart way to cut the time.
All friends I know thinks I'm nuts when I say that I usually watch all movie in at least double speed too, unless it's Star Wars: P
Keep it up GS, you're doing Great(Scott): D
