How to Waterproof Electronics Nail Polish, Silicone, Potting Compound AlienWacker: I hope you will see this message, this video being so old now, but there's a great product I've discovered that works as well as silicone, but is a lot easier to use - you just paint it on. Liquid Electrical Tape. It's like silicone, but it dries really quickly, and like I said you just paint it on. I use the black, but it's also apparently available in red, green & white. It's from Gardner Bender.

7: 38 this is the hard version. there are many other versions that are of various softness, not so hard. some can even bounce like a ball after curing. i personally prefer the soft type, it can withstand impact without damaging some highly sensitive cb

if you wanna get really fancy with the epoxy, use a pressure pot to minimize bubbles. You can either vaccum the bubble out, or apply pressure to shrink the bubbles when curing.
