Wiper Motors and or Electric Window Motors work the best for winding coils. They work on 12v and can easily adjust your speed down by turning the Voltage supply down. Most importantly, because these type of motors have a Worm gear reduction inbuilt, the shaft will NOT move at all when the power is turned off. It holds it's place - so you can apply glue or tape etc.

explained so well you should teach electronics to children. you do need to teach safety as a lot of people will touch the spark and not realise they a cooking themselves internally because of the high frequency
