We will be having a closer look at 7 different products I got from Aliexpress. Aliexpress is famous for featuring the newest products/ICs when it comes to electronics but finding those can be a bit difficult. So I tried finding the hidden Gems not only electronics related but in general what I think could be useful

Magazine links to page where you find they don't really want to sell it. Hidden right at the bottom in pale blue you might just be able to find it. Not very inspiring. Is this normal for Arduino - making things difficult? Hmmm.
If you do click you have to add it to you basket to be able to use the discount code then when you try to pay you find they are just using this to grab information. You HAVE to have an account with them. It would not surprise me if you cannot delete it without some difficulty if at all. It's free, just a dollar and your personal details that we promise only to use in a way specified in a mere 32 pages of small print only understandable by people who are complete c ts.
I was thinking this magazine might be really good. Now I don't care and am disappointed. So much so I will probably get no further in this video than your sponsoring of this magazine plot

I am surprised that the first item did not end it's life as the base of a Tesla Coil. The design is that of most bases of tesla coils and with your new enamel wire dispenser, you just need to use up a roll of toilet paper to get the cardboard as the base for the secondary winding. Depending on the polarity of the coil, you could cheat by having the secondary contact the center of the base coil that looks to be an exposed trace. Thank you for looking at these products, you may want to look into the cheap ceiling fans that are under 30USD as some of them are able to be converted into actually working generators.

Could you test (or create) a neat little power supply, much like those meant to connect to a usb charger. While those in particular are nice, they are not very robust and working with them can be annoying due to the output via two cable things. I mean for example the Wuzhi zk-dp3a dc-dc usb step-up/down converter supply thing.
I'd love to have one that is about as small and driven via usb-c, but with better build quality and menu and all that. CV, CC so I can charge arbitrary li-ion batteries.
Could you test those, please?

greatscottlab did you check if the MPPT controller wasn't broken? The wind turbine itself looks fine and may be worth it. I just suspect that they had to cheap out somewhere and that could have been the mppt controller. Also the spot welder looks really hackable. Maybe a microcontroller and some LCD display can be added to make it a bit more user friendly. Love the series, please continue doing them!

I could be wrong with this but I think the gaps in the nickel strips located on the battery terminals are used that you place the spot welder probes on different side of the gap and thus lead the current to go through the battery and not the nickel strip. As I said I am not sure but, but in all of your footage you placed your probes on one of the sides.

I had high hopes for the IP2368 battery charger, sad to see it didn't work for you. According to documents I found online, the IP2368 supports 4s li-ion/lipo battery by default, and you need to change a resistor on the PCB to get it to support up to a maximum of 6s battery. Maybe this will give you more insight into why it failed.

Since now you have made a fpv quad of your own I wanted to ask,
Can you make a video explaining the video transmitter and receiver circuit in fpv drones and design you own diy digital video transmission system for drones
(If there is a articles or something pls link it I couldn't find anything related to this on internet.

can you check out the 230w gan chargers they sometimes have for sale? they are very tiny ive seen them for many models of laptop, i'm not sure how much i would trust one with my razer or something, but I would love to have one since the brick for my razer and gaming laptops in general are huge.

Not to sure about the calculations with that diode. A Schottky diode will have a voltage drop of less than 0. 6V for sure and I find 0. 27V for a 'perfect' diode a lot. The 10SQ045 which I use has a max of 0. 55V drop at it's max of 10 Amp current capability it seems.

you should make this a regular series, i also scroll through taobao/aliexpress like this when im bored to kill some times and find interesting obscure products or projects made by small indie companies, its weirdly entertaining lol

Excellent Program.
How is it that I have not seen this program before?
I had to come back for the edit as follows: I literally turned off my Sunday morning game in order to watch this video.

I like this video idea, very nice to watch and a lot of information packed into it.
I also imagine it must be fun getting to play with all these devices.
Great execution also

Man the Flying Pen would be such a great product if it wouldnt come with shitty enameled copper wire, I wonder if you can replace the spool with a different brand or something

I've had this spotwelder for a long while and it works great, they released a version 2 a while ago and it features much better build quality of teh housing and leads

Maybe re-purpose the Schumann coil as a coffee mug warmer. Just have to put a current limited supply through it. being careful not to let it get too hot and de-laminate.
