video description
Jokes aside, just 10 years before, drivers in the Indy 500 where bragging about going 60MPH in purpose built racing cars. About how you could see angels flying beside you, as life flashed before your eyes. 70 miles a hour in the 1920's was booking it.

As a millennial I missed out a lot during the times when a car was simpler it was to work and how manufacturers took pride in making something classy. I wish I could-ve enjoyed those vintage times when America was America and not this water downed garbage we see today in every aspect of life, liberty, freedom, society, politics, goods and services.

Documentaries about some particular Automobile,
-WITHOUT SPECIFICATION ON THE CAR ITSELF! -
like machine that it has, suspension, body work, and time of development. Really disappointing.

Easy to see why this was a revelation at the time. Our 1930 Model-A would only hit a bit over 50, and wasn't happy doing it. To this day. speed still sells!

Chrysler was a genius when he made the Chrysler 70. I-m sure Ford and DuPoint were probably thinking that the Chrysler 70 wasn-t gonna sell.

Great video. But you probably should have had them actually working on a Chrysler rather than a Ford Model A

Hot rod for the masses. I have a '27 T that will get near 50 on flat ground but it is happiest at 33-35.
