How the Vikings Ruled the Seas - History Remade with Sabrina Victor: My family came from Norway, I-ve know we explored North America long before 1492, we were smart enough to know we were exploring the land. People were here already. Most of natives here in what we call America were Warriors. They were fierce fighters. So where the Viking. The Cherokee tales tales run in the Vikings out of the country which is somewhat true but 64 Vikings held off 2000 Cherokee warriors for four days while her brother loaded the ships in a scape the Cherokees won-t tell how many we killed we know exactly who they. but of course you know everybody has their own remembrance of history. If Eric was here now he-d already be fighting this government

I gotta admit I'm disappointed in the overly simplified history of the vikings (which didn't just originate from Norway, by the way - I'm pretty sure you just offended two thirds of all scandinavians who watched this video with that comment, and they weren't just warriors and traders, but also farmers, craftsmen etc. (in other words, not all vikings were seafaring and their culture was just as much based on their land as it was on the sea.

That's. not really how they were made. The techniques described are accurate but, you should've used freaking actual sticks and popsickle sticks instead of watermelon so you might actually have been able to get it sealed. Also a bigger tub of water that isn't the same length as the ship: P

The hanging gardens of babalon! (lol) But I think a bridge( the arkadiko bridge, perhaps, bc one article told me it was real old) would be cool. Also, Sabrina, Melissa, I love you guys so much! Your videos are incredible and I'm so grateful that you are sharing them with us!

Let's do a video on how the Vikings found America first before Christopher Columbus can anybody let me know if Christopher Columbus was locked up in Spain before he decided to Rob this land from the Indians since we want rewrite history so much let's start there

I would-ve learned more if you designed it on a computer (CAD) explaining the process along the way, the watermelon was just confusing. It-s easily made from wooden parts that most any woodworking shop would cut for you.

I wasted 16: 37 minutes of my life watching some lady play with a watermelon - maybe be more creative and focus on explaining History instead being irrelevant. (Don't mind me, I'm just having a bad day)

You should have used something like Gorilla Glue epoxy that requires some moisture to harden.
Glue of any sort won-t work, return them for store credit and buy some epoxy

I'd love to see you remake the Old Man House from Puget Sound, Washington. The techniques used to create ancient longhouses were surprisingly subtle and interesting!

You could build the Antikythera mechanism, talk about ancient Greek ingenuity, astronomy, and the -OOPArts- conspiracy theories that have sprung up around it
reply

It doesn-t seem the most complex, but I-d love to hear the history of windmills and see you make one! Bonus points if it can actually grind something.

Christopher Columbus, did not, discover America! He discovered, the West Indies, along, with the coast, of South America, on successive voyages.

Gotta be honest, History meets Art Attack meets Sabrina from answer in progress is a show that I never knew I needed, but I really like it.

It was that you -port- on that side because of where the exit was.
-Starboard- the opposite side where the boards were stars were.

Can you do the Australian music instrument? (Can't spell it)
I hope you sleep between episodes because you look stressed out lol

reply

The unnecessary effort of cutting up the watermelon to reassemble the watermelon made this video way too enjoyable
reply

Actually, it could take 2 years because before they could start building, they had to find and cutdown the perfect tree.
reply

I honestly don't get the point of this. there are people out there who can actually build stuff. why does this exist?
reply

Couldn-t you just use like dowels? You could even split some softer wooden ones. They sell balsa wooden dowels.
