The Curse of Oak Island: TOP 5 FASCINATING FINDS Dai: In Spain, France, England, Norway, They all had Ships masts Pits, for making Masts for Ships where they would Band and cast the Iron Collars and rigging and pulleys onto the Masts and also finish off the Masts Tapering from top to bottom, The easiest way to do that is to Drop the Masts into Pits that were from 50 to 200 feet deep, With wooden Platforms for the workers at different levels, then above Ground they had w Winch pulley system for Dropping the Mask in and out of the Pits, In order to get the Masts out of the pits they would attach the Mast then pulley it up as far as they could to a Level then move the Platform Poles under the bottom of the Mast so it stay in place, The readjust the Winch further down to remove it with ease- Simple, It was done this way for 400 years, Yet Oak Island haven-t worked it out yet -.

I believe this season they pretty much proved there is NO treasure. They plunged massive cans down the money pit and found nothing. Combine that with the holes they dug in other areas around it in past years, I believe the facts are in. If there was some kind of massive treasure down there they would have found some evidence of it, even a few coins. You add to that the just fantastical belief anyone would bury treasure that far down to begin with with no hope of ever recovering it, I think they should quit.
The only interesting things they have found are the historical stuff like the dock and the road, and it looks like the Canadian Government put a halt to that, so what else is there. They need to look up the -sunk cost fallacy- and read it.

Should be called the Curse of Rick and Marty show! Their show has only ten minutes of content for the whole hours, half is commercials, about a third or so is just repeats of what they just said by the narrator or reviews of what just happened. Talk about sucking every dime out of every dollar they make just to irritate the viewers, glad I record the shows and watch the high lights which ends up being just ten minutes. They also like to bunny jump from one thing to the other, no wonder they can't find anything when one piece of iron shuts down an operation so they can talk about it for 15 minutes, what a farce!

I believe that there probably was a treasure pit on the island but it-s already been taken maybe not long after they made it. It-s hard to keep a secret like that especially when from the sounds of things, hundreds of people were involved in the digging of tunnels, all of the construction they undertook to hide it and the fact that it sounds like people have known of its location for hundreds of years.
If there was treasure there it-s long gone. It doesn-t matter anyway, the money they make from the multiple seasons of them finding artefacts will make them all rich anyway.

I have watched Oak Island since the 3rd season and look forward to it and routed for you guys every year since. I want you to find a treasure yet that means the end of the seasons, which would definitely make me sad. I-m invested in this project like I was operating the machines myself. Besides that I would miss seeing Ricks face every week. So, good luck to you guys. We-ve had a good run, you and I, and I would hate to see the end of the show, however I do wish you well in the coming season regardless of the find. Your most loyal, yet conflicted fan.

Wow, so many negative comments, and yet here you all are, why don't you just stop watching then, y'all are pretty Hippocratic people.
Will they ever find anything substantial, we don't know, but looking for it is half the fun, sure I'd like to see them find something, and they've proven scientifically that there should be a sizable amount of silver underground on Oak Island, so that goes against any arguments that you think you have, as for me, I'll keep watching, I find it rather entertaining!

Oh look they are finding Saint Germains World Trust that was established in 1729 (Publically acknowledged)
King Solomons treasure called Templar Treasure thats to be used to financially back the coming 1 world Currency and the Biblical MARK OF THE BEAST.
All the worlds a stage and all the actors freemasonic Luciferians.

I dont think they'll ever find anything. Its been dug up thousands of times over 200 year. If it ever was there it prob got washed out into the ocean when the tunnels flooded. . They've destroyed the tunnels & moved the whole island. It's either washed out to sea, buried deep or spread out over the whole island.

The lead cross looks as if it has been fashioned from recycled stained glass lead fretwork. Possibly from a window on a ship. I don't think anyone would deliberately make it like that unless it was modified from scrap. The lead analysis may therefore have more to do with its original use.

OMG I was looking through the comments and some of you idiots think it's real. there is no treasure on oak Island. they don't have a lot of history on that island no one cares about that Island no one is ever cared about that Island stop it. I'm losing faith in humanity.

the real question - will the show continue to dis and ignore the real archeology on the island now that it is underway? the treasure hunt is fun, but the real historical evidence of human activity on the island is more profound than the potential treasure they might find.

I Love the Curse of Oak Island! Been watching for 8 yrs. Just saw the new episode, the stone roadway, leads 4 ways to the treasures. It is Portuguese! pirates from 15 & 16th centuries. They're gonna find at least some of the Treasure. Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle of RUM!
reply

If they Have Found the -Treasure- don't you think that you would have seen it in the News? If they found ANYTHING of Historical or Treasure value they could NEVER hide that for a TV stunt.
reply

They have been closer than ever to the ultimate answers for decades! --- This is a complete joke of a program. Millions of dollars and countless hours spent on finding a pie in the sky.
reply

Why didn-t they just do what the ancient Roman did. Use ash from a volcano and make cement that sets under water. They could block the water coming into money pit
reply

Legends say that there is a treasure chest buried in that island, it contains a letter. it says; -now that you pulverised the soil you can now plant trees-.
reply

Why don't they just block off the perimeter to make it watertight and excavate everything within? Lol. no need to be precise when you dig EVERYTHING -

This is all filmed in a backlot at Hollywood. Where are the big finds at. I'm going to mosey over to the pile of mud. And detect if there's any thing of valuu.
reply

What if I bury some tools and useless items at my backyard and several years later some treasure hunters will go digging in hopes for finding golds
reply

So, did somebody ever had the idea that Oak Osland may have been a silver mine? A slipway, a road, silver. it would also explain the money pit.
