This only just crossed my mind yesterday. I've been mistaken to be even a decade older than I actually am. And it's not because I look old or anything, I've heard that from my online friends and they say it's because of the way I talk, which does make sense. I guess I'm an old soul in a teen's body. either ways it must mean my soul has been reborn so many times to the point that it's boring or just makes me more mature than my years? Idk. It's strange tbh coz money/wealth/luxury goods etc has never appealed to me and I do tend to be pretty philosophical when left alone with my thoughts.

I was told from the moment I could socialize that I was an old soul. The biggest signs then were 1, I found it easier to hang with the adults than the kids my age, and 2, I love my alone time.
As I grew, other signs showed. Empath, my love for learning, never just accepting things as is, disdain for small talk, I'm everyones therapist ( I find it hilarious how many people come to me for dating advice when I've never been in a relationship, reading right through people, etc. I have unintentionally become every sign listed in this video when I was really little, like 7 or 8.

I can't tell if I'm actually an old soul or if its just teenage depression.
What can be called appreciating silence could just be isolation. Besides, not many people my age and my stepdad are kind to me.
What dan be called beyond my years could just be the brain's development and autism.
I do still love philosophy. I want something authentic, to get away from everything with drama and being loud. I want peace.

My Dad always told me I'm an old soul even as a kid. He said that he doesn't think or accept things like me when he was a kid. We talk about why we are living and came into conclusion that we are a part of God trying to experience different kinds of life and that we are conciousness. We are also eternal souls. I would love to travel around the world and write a book someday. I'm eighteen right now.

Theres so much to say about the points made in this video but 10 is one that said just like to make a quick statement on
Ignorance is bliss but if I was given the choice to be ignorant to achieve peace and bliss, I would deny that offer for the knowledge Ive attained of what is and who I am is something I would not trade away even though my subconscious & consciousness yearns for true peace.

I think Ive become a lot of what an old soul is. Simply cause my best friend. Were both 20 now but weve been friends since kindergarten. He pretty much opened my mind and world to the realm of possibilities and knowledge of everything and anything. Now even though I still have a long way to go I have so much more of an understanding of the world and people because of him.

I never knew old souls existed or were even a thing. Now that I have found it it makes a lot of sense and I found out what I am in some way. I am young yet I feel older, more out of it then my generation. One person even said 'your a 40 year old tsuck in a 18 year old body' which is shocking but feels true (not that it's nessesarly a bad thing) and I'm happy who I am

A few months ago my mom pointed out I am an old soul and I think I am. I mean I do look at death as something natural instead of something to fear and I question everything about life and this video is accurate. Any other old souls out there?

I totally agree with all of it but I find that Number 9 is pretty much me. I'm 19 years and I have 0 friends close to my age just The librarian guard who is same age as my father. I find us more connected More than college students.
