We thought we do extroverts justice and share some of the strengths and weaknesses of extroverts. Are you an extrovert who can relate to this? Hopefully, this video can help you learn to deal with extroverts or have a better understanding of extroverts. If you're an extrovert watching this, let us know if these signs are true! Can you explain how an introvert would go about becoming more extroverted? For obvious reasons like, to be more confident and excited about meeting people and taking initiative.
I myself am an introvert that finds a really deep interest in understanding people and getting to know them but am very anxious and paranoid when trying to make new friends.
I do not quite understand the process behind getting people to like you enough to continue talking to you.
I broke up with my girlfriend 5 years ago and it led me down a path of serious depression which led to me never leaving my house, which would include going to school.
I'm 18 and haven't really made any true connection with people outside of the internet and it makes me feel so alone.

I have ADHD and diagnosed Asperger syndrome, and I have almost all weaknesses of an extrovert, but I'm definitely not an extrovert, because I don't feel good with social interactions (only with literally one person that is my only out of 4 of my friends, so maybe I'm an introvert (or ambivert, I don't know, it's just mixing like magma from hell and water from heaven. Rarely, I want to go upstairs in my social level at school, but it always ends in a note or in minus/F grade, or me being a crybaby for them. But slightly more often, I gain energy from being around other people (more friends. So I can't evaluate who I am, introvert, or extrovert, or ambivert.

People want a extrovert to talk but when they are just busyyy for their own means they just say you are annoying i try to make people smile like my classmate i tried to talk to her but she was constantly ignoring me and it was a free period i was talking about regular stuff she said i am a annoying person and will live alone all my life because nobody likes me from that day i always ignore her she is rude afk i am a extrovert but i can make people smile but i have pain whenever i say i have done this they say you are too free you probably are joking we are not always joking we also have a personal space even everyone has

as an extravert i have to say, the weaknesses really drive me crazy.
i just started to tune in with myself and allow myself to get creative and i really do want to make space for me and my spirit, BUT i struggle so hard with being alone, not because i have nothing to do but because i feel like i want to share my joy and opinions, the things i learn when i am alone. i isolated myself for a month and now other and over again, to gain peace with being by myself and not having the need to overshare but i think this is the task of my lifetime. it really holds me back from inner peace and the person i want to be.

Being an extrovert is like starving for connection. I'm not good at being alone and like to share things as much as learn things from others. I have friends that are introverts, i understand that they need more time to be with themselves and don't want to be bothered. So i end up waiting for their cue to start a conversation. I don't mind be proactive on this, but sometimes i feel like if I stop calling, or texting, they will never contact me. The media is all about introverts so i don't have a lot of info abt how to deal with the problem.

Being an extrovert
I was feeling on that strengths
And feeling bad on the other side for my weakness bcz no one in my family understands me.
These days I am having my holidays, everyone is doing well in their routine
. But I was finding everything boring and even some criticism put me in tears a lot of time
It was hard for me to be free all the day and getting nothing productive to do
I had suffered from many mental stages.
Even family decide to take me to the psychiatrist. rather understanding me.

I'm a total unlucky extrovert because I always get introverted friends. I always crave for attention and I am always bored because I literally have no one to talk with and nothing to do and that just drives me crazy alot and if I ever try to talk to them (My introvert friends) they will just cut me off and goes away after a minute of talking which rlly hurts me
And I also understand that they need some space too but I am just really unlucky to be in an introverted neighborhood ugh

During quarantine, extroverts got a taste of how emotionally draining it is to live in an introvert world. I heard them complain all the time when it only lasted a few months whereas introverts have to spend their whole life in an extrovert world and are expected to adapt and often seen as rude if they don't. So think about the awful time you had locked-down at home next time you plan to invite an introvert to a party for the third time in a week.

This video sums me up. It can get so bad that I wish I was a bit more introverted despite that it helps my career on many levels. In modern digital age it's not that friendly when you're a bit overwhelming for others or can't stop the spotlight. I know when I'm being a bit too much but also kind of expects feedback on it. It's not as fun and entertaining as people think. Apologising is a key I've come to realise but it's not always enough.

I know a very outgoing man who just drove me crazy every time he was around. this guy had to go out of state every weekend to visit friends, I mean different states. Almost every night he had to go out. If he didn't do that, it was as though he was dying.
As an introvert, I was exhausted watching him go back and forth as though he was a slave to the streets he's a great person but I never understood how he could handle it

-when i am alone in my room i am extremely bored

-i feel lonely often

I can spend 24 hours or even 48 hours in my room with my phone and computer but I am extremely extroverted and sometimes I myself realize I talk too much and it makes me feel insecure. I can't stay without talking to people who talk to me. Sometimes I feel weird and when people just say I talk too much it just pain me and I can still stay quiet.
reply

i can realte a lot i'm an extreme extrovert, i'm never getting bored or sad when i'm at school with my friends. But when it's time for me to study go home stay at my room alone. i feel lonely and bad it's like i lost my extroverted feelings- my personality changes while i'm alone but then it comes back when i'm with people

I'm an extrovert yet every time i attempt to meet someone it's always small talk, and it's always shallow. I accidentally talk just to talk, and achieve nothing and gather nothing from the conversation. It hurts my self esteem everytime. And while i enjoy talking to people, i become afraid. Especially flirting.

Being and extrovert is not what it seems, for me it's horrible, I dont know if it's just me but I always feel bad for talking to much and after going somewhere and talking a lot I regret saying a lot of things, I also get really mad a myself for not shutting up I hate it and I feel like no one understands.

Im a introverted extrovert.
When Im in a face to face converstaion then Im really outgoing and crack some jokes.
But when it comes to talk in a group.
There the shynes kicks in and I turn into a introverted person.
I really wish that I wont have any problems to talk in groups.

Extroverts: just want to meet more people to have fun not want to have fun with themselves alone
(can't stop talking just want to talk more)
Introverts: just run from poeple to have fun with themselves alone
(can't stop remaining silent just want to remain silent more)

No man is an island
Clearly society favors extroverts

Edit:
I was originally an extrovert in my elementary days but after stepping highschool, I realized the world doesn't rotate for you alone so I became an introvert all a sudden.
