That's crazy, I'm in college as a psychology major and about two months ago started dating another classmate who asked me out. What's crazy about it is he did almost everything this video talked about and that really caught my attention.
For example: nonverbal flirting; he would engage in footies while we were working on a project for class.
Sense of humor: if you know this guy, you know he makes everyone around him laugh.
Intellectual stimulation: while no conversation comes to mind we often talk about anything that comes to mind and can talk for hours.
Uniqueness and authenticity. Based on how unique he is, I don't think he's ever shown or presented someone that's not totally him.
Socializing with friends. Additionally, he is a nice and fairly social man, which drew myself as well as 5 other people to engage in conversation before and after class nearly every meeting. All 7 of us got along really well throughout the semester, and we had lots of fun.
Finally, making the first move. After flirting in class a few times he asked me out and we went out to breakfast a few days later.
So without even knowing it, I was subjected to these strategies and it worked on me

I don’t think people find me very attractive as a partner. I think it’s because I unintentionally do things that make the other person feel uncomfortable. This is because I struggle to understand social norms. I would love a video on social norms and what people view as normal vs what they see as creepy or off. I’m attracted to this one girl, and I think a got a little bit too off with my gestures and attempts to be around her. People tell me that her decision only wanting to be friends had nothing to do with me. But, I have a strange feeling that some of the things that I tended to do were a factor in that decision. I’m still attracted to her, and I want to see what happens between us. But, I’m not good with social norms, and I don’t want to draw her away from me. I would LOVE to see a video from you on social norms!

I think My crush likes me back but is shy because I see how she acts with her body language and doing her when sitting next to me in class and she did call yesterday because got her a gift and her brother as well because she told me a bit about her self and I heard that she broke up with her boyfriend a while back so now is my chance to be with her. But I’m also gonna help her out and the brother too because her dad doesn’t do nothing she take care of her brother and I should help out and me and her we have a lot of similarities on how we live so me her have a lot in common. Wish me good luck guys

The girl i used to talk to was always acting as she like me and the whole school guessed the same but after 5 mths of talking and opening up we suddenly stopped talking. I didnt ask why either thought she found someone. But after a year my friend asked her why she stopped talking to me she said that when she found out i had feelings for her she didnt want any relation and so stopped talking to not hurt me more. If she didnt want relation why talk so flirtishly and care so much abt my daily life. so much that the whole school thinks we are dating.

Amazing video A month ago, my partnership of five years came to an end. The choice to break up with the person I love is something that really gets to me. Even though it's all for nothing, I've done everything I can to get him back, and I couldn't imagine my existence without him. I've tried everything to stop thinking about him, but I still can't help but miss him and think about him often. I don't know why I am saying this here.

How to stop having a crush Sometimes I find myself having a crush or genuinely liking someone, however I enjoy my soltitude and single life and don't want to date. I see it as an illness, but it's annoying, takes some time to go away by itself and can damage my relationship with the friend.
Why does my brain keep throwing stuff like this at me sometimes, even though I'm never gonna go through with it

reply

At the start of the year I'll have to use a couple of these. I've already brushed my shoulder on hers and we've had a few laughs. We already have the same friend circle. I can always be myself with her.
I've made the first move a few times. Even subtle hand touches or trying to reach for her. And the times bumping into each other almost like she falls into me and I catch her.

It kind of makes me laugh right now because I did all that with the last dude, without thinking about it. And after our first actual date, he said to me that even if he is extremely attracted to me, his heart does not feel anything so he wants to stop here.
But I try not to take it personally. And what he said made me want to run away anyway.

Watching this video now makes me remember that one time we sat next to each other in class. I asked him to hand me my cap that was on the table (on his side. He didn't hear the first time, so I just stretched my arm across him to get it. He looked so shocked and confused at the same time (I think he blushed a bit, but idk)

Hi psych2go! I'm 15 years old and have been A HUGE FAN since I was 12! So, for the past couple of months, I've been dealing with social media addiction. It's something that felt like an escape at first, but now it's taking over my life. Can you please make a video on how to stop this addiction/ how to live without it

I have a crush on this girl since last year, i asked her out be she already ahd a bf, but she was so kind while rejecting, even with a follow up message to cheer me on. And now she is single, but idk what to do, i dont talk to people outside of my friends, and everyone notices me if i try to make a move or smth.

Honestly it’s so hard for me and my crush to make physical contact because he is very shy so sometimes when we sit next to each other I move my knee so our knees are touching and I always see him smile when I do that. I wish I could find other subtle ways like that to convey my feelings. Great video as always

My crush seems to really like me irl. She always looks at me during class, laughs at my jokes, and is enthusiastic whenever I talk to her. Over text, on the other hand, it seems like she's somewhat uninterested (not dry, but just kinda dismissive. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing

I have no clue, i dont understand flirting in the slightest nor do i speak often. Most every word i say is just for others, and trying to interact. Heck i dont have a crush at them moment anyway, still trying to figure out if im crazy or if somone is trying to reach out.

dunno if you’ll see this comment but try doing a video for hyperactivity and the science of it (psychological facts, why some people can be hyperactive, and why it kinda appears in autism and adhd)
always wanted to learn about it. I’m praying this comment will be seen

reply

My crush is over network right now, so my first step is actually interacting with them there, I think interacting with her friends will just happen naturally there, and I think the other traits are things I've cultivated without the intent
