Very helpful. I've been using Dropbox on my MacBook air for 2-1/2 years. However, today I accidentally deleted the Dropbox file icon from Finder. I've managed to reinstall Dropbox and have the Dropbox icon on my top bar. I can click on the folder there and work from it, but I can't get the Dropbox folder to show up in Finder. Any ideas how I can get the folder to reappear? Thanks!

Thanks for the tutorial. One question though; Once you grab the folder from your computer's desktop and drag it into the dropbox folder it's gone from your computer. What's the difference between dragging or copy-pasting? It seems to me that copy-pasting files and folders puts them on dropbox but they don't synchronize. Could you share your findings on this uses?

Very useful- thank you.
Quick question - when you use the desktop version of DropBox - does it take space on the laptop when you add more files to it? I want to keep space free on my laptop - so if I save the files on the desktop DropBox does it take up more storage or are the files saved on the DropBox server but not on my laptop?

You gave an excellent tutorial. I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to. I have Dropbox installed on my Mac Computer. When I go to all my folders I do not see the number of files I have in each folder like in Documents, all I see is a green check mark. Please explain how I can display the number. Thank you.

The Download feature no longer shows up when sharing a file... what did i forget to do?... The file is present, you can play it on Dropbox, However, no download option. Other files I have in the past allowed to download whether someone sent me the file or vice versa... what did i not do correctly>? Help!

Thanks man! Great video. I just have one question, I dragged and dropped a file on my Mac into a video folder in my Dropbox but can-t see the video from my iPhone. Can you think of any reason why this would happen. I have an updated version on Dropbox app on my phone so cant seem to figure it out.

I've been using Dropbox to view files offline but I've forgotten how to do it. Your video doesn't cover this. I've got all my files in iCloud, so I just want to use Dropbox to access files where there's no internet connection.

Man DropBox looks lit. I'm really caught between Dropbox and Backblaze. Dropbox is more popular so i trust it more but Backblaze is soooooo much cheaper. I'm caught in analysis paralysis
