The shape, contents and future of the universe are all intricately related. We know that it's mostly flat; we know that it's made up of baryonic matter (like stars and planets, but mostly dark matter and dark energy; and we know that it's expanding constantly, so that all stars will eventually burn out into a cold nothingness. Rene Hlozek expands on the beauty of this dark ending. Lesson by Rene Hlozek

Bear in mind, that the universe will never come to a complete halt as you said. I understand it's a conclusion of a study by scientists but yet not proven so still a mystery how it will end. One problem I've noticed that most scientists apply earth laws on the universe which not necessarily right. each planet has its own configuration. and the only way to know what's in there, you have to go there and experience. besides, we as humans have not discovered earth fully.

Scientists are now theorizing that even protons will eventually disintegrate into fundamental particles that will reach near absolute zero. Which is to say that, entropy will stop, the ultimate order is achieved where everything is equally balanced.

I hv a question. If the universe is nearly flat, can we go to the top, because it's FLAT! we will see the end of the universe. if you get what I mean. I know this is silly but.

Genesis 2. The earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Genesis 3 (the Big Bang) and God said, let there be light and there was light.

No offense, but they really grasped at straws to find something uplifting about this. Sure the universe is accelerating. But not in the way I would like: (

Knowing that every action that I do can't be undone and requires energy that the universe can never get back is depressing on the scale of Omega

The Blackhole Evaporates by releasing the matter which it eats to grow so universe cannot die, it will start again and again and again upto infinity

Our understanding of the universe allows quantum fluctuations to restart the universe some 520 googol years after the heat death. Or so Ive heard

It's interesting that people think this is depressing, we are just human with limited lifespans anyways, not like we will ever see the end.

We know less than 1% about the universe and know even less about how it will end. These videos are amusing like WWE wrestling.
