Weve all been told that we should recycle plastic bottles and containers. But what actually happens to the plastic if we just throw it away? Emma Bryce traces the life cycles of three different plastic bottles, shedding light on the dangers these disposables present to our world. Lesson by Emma Bryce

The subject of single-use plastic is a problem that can only be eradicated by going to the source. The closing statement implicates that although the material is repurposed, plastic is still there. And many rather not reuse, repair or repurpose those things but dispose of it. And then the cycle just happens again. Sustainability is one of the many better ways to solve this environmental problem. An environmental problem caused by us humans. By not continuing to produce what destroys, many if not all of us would be comfortable and would still find convenient a world without a new generation of plastic.

Can we not just hire people to sort out all the plastic paper metal and glass and recycle it. Send it back to the company for reuse. Can we not hire someone to pick and sort those areas in the ocean and recycle that too. It makes no sense.

This is the fairy tale that is taught to us in school since we were little. The sad truth is that recycling is done by very few countries and most of the remaining materials are shipped to 3rd world country landfills.

Ever heard the saying: our actions have consequences. Well thats true. We are throwing plastic anywhere and in a few years time, our world will completely be destroyed.
