During this lockdown, I had about 5 nightmares, where I could interact with random people but I could never see my father, later on, my other nightmares were only about trying to see my father. I couldn't see him or touch him, I knew he was near though. So the thing is that since the quarantine started I haven't been able to hug my father (for months, I talk with him every day and we video chat too but even if I didn't show it I missed him so much that I would have nightmares where I would wake up crying. The moment I was able to see him the nightmares stopped.

I've dreamt of multiple life set ups, new apartments and an entire neighborhood/ city set up with different sets of neighbors frnds and co workers, stores around. multiple times in a year (usually in continuation) and I remember all the details abt past dream experiences in the current dream and I wake up confused becuase I'm suree I've never been to similar places. Such strong, detailed imaginations and experiences is confusing sometimes like an alternate reality. Can't wait to revisit and catch up.

the other night, i dreamt that i was elsa and anna's sister. elsa turned out to be a bad person, and it was up to anna and i to stop her. for some reason, hans was there too and was on our side. there was this crown that elsa wears and it gives her power. there's also a serum that will make her much stronger and powerful when injected to her. our mission was to get the crown and serum, then i will use it to overthrow elsa hahahaha. weird

Some dreams I've had recently (newest to oldest)
-Not social distancing
-Me throwing a tantrum due to not social distancing
-Me accidentally unleashing a murder hippo which was later responsible for hundreds of deaths: I
-Me being a dragon, loving some weird flying golden boy and fighting the authorites (this one I have a whole short story written of because I loved it)

I don't know why whenever I am in my dream I pinch my self and Tell myself it is a Dream. And to any Dream I jump from the building. Sometimes I am afraid I cannot distinguish between Dream and Real Life. I cannot control Jumping from Height. I fear If I mistakenly Jump from my my home thinking it's a Dream. It's Really scary.

Am I the only one who can't have like a natural dream now? What I mean is before, I just sleep and then I get a random dream, now I have to imagine a lot of things for hours while lying at bed (and still have difficulty sleeping) to just dream something or fall asleep lol

There is no one clear purpose for dreaming. All of these purposes are theories, meaning they are basically correct until proven wrong. That is an important fact your attack with your last statement. I expect more of you TED-Ed.

Has anyone had an experience of knowing that you're in a dream.
