I don't get sad because I already accepted that everything changes with time and if I am stuck in the past I can't seem to enjoy the present and honestly without innovation we wouldn't be able to continue living the lifes we have now. I also tend to not separate myself from what I enjoy or look back, pretty much if there's something I like I bring it with me to the present lol why not if i like it i want to enjoy it

My family fell apart as a child. From my dad and my mom, my sister and her husband, my uncle and his wife, my mom and her siblings after both my grandparents died. My sister stopped talking to my mom. I went from a big great family to holidays with just my mom. It bothers me to this day. I dont think Ill ever stop feeling like I want the past back.

Nostalgia can truly be so overwhelming. A good kind of overwhelming. You associate past activities or events with so many other things occurring at your life at the time. just. you have nowhere to put these feelings. All u can do is wish. to experience them again.

Nostalgia isn't always good for you. Sometimes you get so obsessed with the past that you say everything new is bad and can't look beyond the flaws and acknowledge the pros no matter how small or big.

I love and hate nostalgia, it makes me feel both happy and sad at the same time. Im a pretty nostalgic person, I get nostalgic for things that happened only like a year ago.
