I have been thinking a lot about the subject of the accelerated expansion of the universe, and I came up with a theory to explain it, in this hypothesis we are inside a solid of indefinite shape that contains a hollow sphere inside it, that sphere is the universe we are in. , which started with an explosion (bigbang) at its center, and is expanding rapidly because all the matter is being pulled into the inner face of this bubble in which we are due to the gravity of this solid, which is very massive and composed of dark matter, and everything that reaches this 'edge' joins the mass that only increases over time, in this theory the universe is finite will end one day when all matter in the universe 'falls' on the inner wall of this solid.

So its not expanding. Its getting smaller and more detailed into itself. Because the huge 3rd dimension actually has zero space. Its just that, like other dimensions, it is also wrapped tightly in on itself when viewed from a higher dimension. And thats how it can have basically infinite detail within the 3rd dimension. And. The fact that it can never reach infinite detail, it just keeps expanding (into itself) at lightspeed. C being the limitation due to plank time scale moments and the requirement for the plank length distance to be covered in each frame. =C is limited to its value.

The only problem with the analogy of the raisins located on the surface of the bread moving apart. is that _There is space outside the bread which allows it to expand. _ If that bread were in a titanium container it wouldn't expand any further because the outer limits of the metal container would resist any further expansion.
In order for outer space to expand within itself, it has to be expanding _into a reality that allows its expansion without resistance. _
So the original question has not been answered.

our universe is merely a bubble within something infinitely bigger. so our universe is actually expanding into empty space. why is it so hard to accept that there are empty spaces between universes?
Space should be INFINITE guys, why is it so hard to understand? stop over analysing with Einstien's theory!
it would be naive and egotistical to assume that our universe is the only system out there. kind of like ancient civilization assumed everything revolved around Earth

The earth spins, the planets spin and travel around our star. Our galaxy spins with stars and planets spinning within, other galaxies spin and travel around? And the universe must also orbit each other and spin within it's all a rythem within a rythem. It's the balance of what we do not know or see. Just a theory, I'm probably wrong.

What if dark matter is the multiverse and we are moving away and at a faster rate because a new universe develops for every decision and the more populace grows in the universe the more decisions being made the more universes are created which to us is dark matter pushing us farther and faster? Sorry if that doesnt make sense

It's expanding into itself. The universal perpetual motion machine constantly transforms energy fields of electrons between the expansion of energy repulsion and the contraction of energy attraction, creating and destroying energy formations through harmonic resonance and the decoherence of entropy within matter.

What a horrible video and such a terrible presentation. I only have a Bachelor of Science in astronomy and historical geology Conway freaking smarter than you. I think that you probably don't have any education and you're just one of these people that do these videos pretending like you have an education

It's just a massive computer that gets it's hard drives filled up and than they add more storage which is why it constantly seems to be expanding. One day it will all get so screwed up there will be no option but to turn it off and back on again.

Ted-Ed is the best education and learning platform in the world, but, I think one of the main reasons why Ted-Ed is so popular is due to one of the best narrator named Addison Anderson. Please Ted-Ed, let Addison narrate all Ted-Eds video contents!
