For most of us, the real vintage footage in this video is only known as stories from our ancestors. If you're lucky enough and have aged well, you might recall the streets of the 1930s in the USA from your youth. The streets were far less bustling than they are today, and buildings, cars, and people had a different look. The colorized footage brings these scenes to life, allowing you to truly imagine what the streets must have been like back then. Are you ready to step into a time machine? As soon as you watch this video, you'll find yourself transported to the 1930s in America in no time. It's truly remarkable how we can now breathe life into old black and white photos by colorizing them - even video footage. Just for you, we've curated the finest visual material that captures the authentic look and feel of the streets, homes, buildings, and automobiles in 1930s America. This video contains footage from famous photographers from the 1930s like: Berenice Abbott, Dorothea Lange, Russell Lee, Arthur Rothstein, Marion Post Wolcott and Leslie Jones

Back before the invasion disguised as hoard migration.
Before legalised and weaponised uncontrolled population growth from the outside.
Bringing in incompatible skills, mentality and values.
America was the pinnacle of progression.
A society that was safe, secure, affordable and prosperous year on year.
Enough homes being built for the natural increases and the compatible migrants.
America was essentially a gleaming example of a virtual Utopia.
Where a normal person can earn enough, support a family with one earner, afford to buy a home, land that was large enough to have a drive way and garage, clean, productive society, decency and respect was everywhere and kindness genuinely exhibited with pride in culture of Sunday mass, National pride, cultural pride.
All gone by 2000's and in taters by 2020's and just a shadow of itself.

Thank you for the wonderful video with the story coming to life! Very interesting! I think that in the event of a powerful flare on the sun, we will still be able to return to the 1930s. Now, unfortunately, people are used to all this electronics, and there is less live communication, live emotions, and fewer visits to friends. Now there is some kind of race against time, constant senseless stress. Too much information from everywhere. Some 30-40 years ago, it was not like this, people were happier and were happy with simpler things. People should always remain human beings, not robots. And the Internet, smartphones, are just a tool, not an end goal

I got an extremely weird feeling watching this videos and to know we are almost 100 years after this, it's like we only perceived times as being old before because how they looked in -bad quality footages- but watching this i think in reality humanity has been the same, just changing clothes, traditions, behaviours, technology to have a sense of change through the years. everything there look very futuristic in comparison with the victorian eras, they were living in the future at the time with all those cars and photography inventions.

I enjoy nostalgia as much as anyone. However, let's keep it in perspective. I was born in 1957, and 4 years ago I had a life-saving prostate procedure that was simply not available in the 1930s. I also have had both hips replaced; again, would not have been possible back then. Had I actually lived back then, I would be confined to a wheelchair, and most likely condemned to a painful death from prostate cancer. So let's not get too starry-eyed about the -good old days-. -

Almost all the people seen in these pictures are dead and not even a hundred years have passed yet. Many of them would be thieves in the drunkenness of youth or power, but today their bones have also rotted. It is death that is the destiny of every creature. So the one who dies is not God, and God never dies, verily He is One, and He has no partner, no minister, no adviser. No wife, no children. He is free from all defects and deficiencies.

Some of us who had parents and grandparents who lived in the 30-s told how little people had and they worked hard but I heard stories of how close the whole families were and how safe and trusting people were. Then WWll came and they were the people who fought for our Country they loved and appreciated. Bottom line, it was a good time in our Country-

It's so sad what's happened to this country. I live in Phoenix and I'm sure it was much like this in those times. However you walk around today and it looks like literal hell. I was at a Walmart the other day and I don't think I saw anyone who was at a healthy weight or who didn't look like they just got out of jail or rehab. God help us all.

In fact the world and people stay the same. And will be staying in future. Conditions, situations changing, yes. But if they change back we'll get the same as it was then. I mean don't be sad something is gone and in the past it was better. Stay a human yourself and you'll be seeing and meeting humans around you.

If I'm going to look at this in a right perspective, the people who can actually tell you what they remember about the 1930s are the ones who are mostly above 100 years old now. Because those in their 90s today should still be new born babies, toddlers or below 7 years old at that time.

These videos were Hollywood made for movie back drops. Taken in areas where there were no homeless people on the street. But, The Great depression caused a lot of homeless people. There were plenty of people on the streets. Juat not on the ones they show in these videos.

people in general regardless of their financial means took better care of their appearance in public, today you can see people butt naked walking down the street or taking a shit on the sidewalk and it's completely normal. smh

I'd love to see colorized oldies of building and early travels on the lincoln highway and other names routes, early photos of our national parks, world war photos, farming practices, victorian houses of the mid west

i am struck by how much better the people were dressed than they are today. Even the guys on skid row looked to be better dressed. And the girls: No green hair, no nose rings, no tattoos and no penises! :b

Thank you for another episode of healing therapy. I wish I was born in that era where there was less trouble, war, and violence. Even the buildings and sceneries reveal the calmness of the era.

Amazing time. Measured life, sympathetic and kind people. Although I did not live in those times, in my soul I yearn for this bygone time to the point of tears.

It-s wonderful to remember the years of our parents 1929-1934-38, 5-9 years old, in the village. Although it's harder for me to imagine. Labor on the land.

The problem with all AI enhanced or restored videos is that black objects are colored purple. These include cars and people's coats.
